Really Bad steering wheel shake
TheLoyale replied to KaraK's topic in 1990 to Present Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester, Baja, WRX&WrxSTI, SVXI wonder if THIS is the underlaying issue then, As the Hanyes book is wrong. Kara this is from the Factory Service Manual so it would be correct. How did you find that so quick?

TheLoyale replied to KaraK's topic in 1990 to Present Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester, Baja, WRX&WrxSTI, SVXYou know, I have heard of this bleeding order a lot on here and I supposed that would have been correct, it seems in a Hanyes book, they say to bleed the system starting with RR, RL, FR, FL, I wonder if the Diagnal bleeding was only for the older Subarus. After all, GM owned part of Subaru in 2001 :-p

Really Bad steering wheel shake
TheLoyale replied to KaraK's topic in 1990 to Present Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester, Baja, WRX&WrxSTI, SVXGood point, but if you notice, the rubber tipped slide only fits in the top hole (And it was the same on both sides) the rubber tip slide must be a genuine part where as the other one was not.

TheLoyale replied to KaraK's topic in 1990 to Present Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester, Baja, WRX&WrxSTI, SVXI for one don't think its a big deal, as everything "Should" be made to a Manufactures spec. I also don't know if that caliper bracket is aftermarket or not, it could be the original from 2001 and only the caliper was replaced. Maybe we need to re-bleed your brakes, But like my Dad said, if that side wasn't grabbing as hard, it would pull (To the left in your case) so I dunno

What Have You Done to your Soobie lately? (Please post in here and keep it going)
Oh wow, yeah I thought I saw a different shade or color in your picture. (At least its not like Dodge paint in which flakes off to bare metal)

My 1993 Loyale: Work In Progress
You frameless door window seals could be letting water past allowing it to run in. The roof can't really leak unless you drilled a hole in it or if the roof support/stiffener screws are leaking (The strips on the roof outside) I mean, if you pull all the front window trim off and RTV the entire crease, that should take care of your leak (Make sure you don't have any pin holes in the Silicone after you apply it) Best advice I can give you.

Lol, I will try to get it up within this week (And when I say "Get it up" I don't mean pitching a tent)- Show me your Subaru Gold
I am wondering what shade of Gold this is: #393 Astral Gold Metallic 1985 I don't think the gold will update the look of the car, as Brown and Gold were basiclly '70s colors. It will still add to the car I think, but not in the updated apperance way.- Rust, Should I buy it?
Out in the Midwest we would jump on that in a heart beat, folks out west really don't understand what "Rust" is.- Really Bad steering wheel shake
TheLoyale replied to KaraK's topic in 1990 to Present Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester, Baja, WRX&WrxSTI, SVXYeah, most pads now days have little nubs molded with the pad, so when it gets low enough it starts to squeal. Kara, if thats what that thing is, its not needed. You would need to put on a good 35,000 before the pads need to be serviced again (Depending how hard you drive) Cheers and thanks for swinging by, was a surprise!- Show off your roos Mileage!

I do not have one, I have a larger style one which is from a "Baja" its a little bigger then the other one. If you want a proper one, I might be getting out to a junkyard sometime in the coming week. Cheers.- Hi !
OH!, hmm. Thats just strange. Maybe I can take a quick look at it when I pick you up. I will also give you those rear brake shoes. They are still useable, so it might save you a few bucks if they are the same style. About Multi-quoting. Next to the "Quote" button, it also says "Multi" click that on each persons post you want to quote. It will show up once you click "Reply" Hope this helps.- What Have You Done to your Soobie lately?
