  1. Thanks for the links!
  2. No doubt, I know this woman who does this really really cool paint effect, she engraves pictures into the paint and when the sun hits it, it really shows off the effect, pictures can't capture that either She also does it with glass, its so far-out! I will have to find some type of stuff like that, Now you got me wanting to do that!
  3. Hmm....? http://www.tcpglobal.com/spraypaintdepot/reflective-paint.aspx
  4. If you know of something, I would do it! I was hoping since the needles are white, that it would have made them glow a little or something. Yeah, the pictures don't do it justice thats for sure. Maybe in action video it would look better?
  5. I snagged these from the Junkyard along with some switches from a first gen Legacy, all for $50! These came out of a Outback Sport that was in a head-on collision. I also took the key from the OBS, and it works perfectly in my EA82, now I FINALLY have a genuine key for it!
  6. If dude is replacing the tail lights, Stop/Turn/Parking, look at the 12v vehicle lights, he'll need something like an 1157 or 1156 (Ones a single pole, the other is a duel pole) go with Cool white as its super bright. Get the High-Power ones aswell, cost a bit more, but are worth it. You can't buy those crappy LEDs from Autozone, its a gimic.
  7. Just go to Superbrightleds.com Everything you could ever dream of, even for 12v vehicle systems.
  8. No, no, that was Dennis Quaid And Ella Fitzgerald is a ship, from a Gordon Lightfoot song
  9. Please tell me your joking!?
  10. Just get a CB and a PA, then you can crank Elvis while flying down the freeway!
  11. Lol, I can't picture you being a "Bag boy" Do you really think it would matter if his bike got messed up? Dude has layed it down so many times that its a pile anyways. Fox, get a picture of said "Crease" If its smooth, I wonder if you could pop it out with a rubber mallet?
  12. Go knock the F******* outta him, beat him with a Fox tail.
  13. UV Blue and Cool White LEDs.
  14. I thought you said it was under the dash on the passenger side? Thats also a 2000 Outback.
  15. Went good. I posted some pictures somewhere. Suppose I could post them in here too. Didn't take to many pictures. Shannon on Facebook has hundreds of photos!
  16. AH! You know, not that you say that - I do remember seeing something on the floor when I stripped a '96 Legacy. Well, to fill you in on the sport mode thing, here is a link. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=117189 Cheers!
  17. Still keeping my eye on craigslist, $500 Subarus always pop up, just have to pick the right one.
  18. Oh! Really? It must be well hidden cause I sure didn't see it on either side of the dash. Anyway, so am I safe to say that the 4th pin hole on the connector is really the correct one? I dunno if you familiur with the "Sport mode" mod or not, if you aren't I will paste the thread on here for you
  19. Sadly... But you can't beat "Free" its kinda handy, except that it doesn' show anything for the TCU wiring
  20. So, I am going to do the "Sport Mode" trick to my '95 Outback. I looked under the dash and found the ECU, it has 3 sets of plugs going to it, and only one is a 20 pin. (The other two are 16pin and 12pin) On the 20pin plug, #3 and #4 pins are un-used. I need to ground Pin #4 to access the "Sport Mode" shift map, but am unsure if this is even the right plug. Are the ECU and TCU part of each other? Heres a picture of the Box and a picture of the 20pin connector.
