My '92 Loyale: Safariwagon
I aways find it fun when I drive the Legacy for a few weeks straight, then drive the EA82, The Loyale feels like a "New" car compared to the Legacy, its almost a relef to drive the EA82 1781cc's of Fury!

Hi !
OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I ALMOST went CRAZY! Didn't I tell you in a PM a while ago to just swap out the MAF with another you have laying around...? *Cough*
-
Hi !
You know, even though it's not my problem, it is gonna drive me crazy until I get an answer/cause. Because I don't know what it is and am now seeking knowledge. If I was there I would have tried a list of things I think of and go from there, you do have enough extra parts to interchange from. Damn, now i with you weren't so far away, I could probably have that thing fixed a few hours or at least narrow it down to what it is. Gonna log off USMB and go crazy searching for an answer on this now

Hi !
Wiring huh, Kinda strange it took this long for throw a CEL. Do you have another ECU you can swap in there from one of the other Legacys? Maybe the ECU is just getting old? Its not controling engine managment correctly and doesn't show a CEL right away. Hmmm....

Speaking of Vodka, I agree the Watermelon thing sounds good, Better then a Screwdriver. No one seems to agree Coke and Vodka work good together (At least they do to me) lol. JoAnne, next time I'm up der, we must break out some Walker!

My '92 Loyale: Safariwagon
As the Safariwagon thread closes to an end, the next step is to keep the car clean and not drive it to much in winter due to salt.

Ironicly, I wouldn't know. I live in the "Cheese" sate, but don't eat cheese. Now if WI made Vodka, I'd be all over that... Sorry for jacking the thread :-p

My 1993 Loyale: Work In Progress
Nothing like a little "Nip/Tuck" on the old Subaru, Sadly, I think she gained some weight from all the new nuts and bolts So what is the next course of action at this point?

Hi !
This is why I brought up "Regulators" in my PM. Wonder if one if stuck? I think there is two on the EJ. You know, those little aluminum colored diaphragm looking things.
-
Hi !
At least you have an EJ FSM Yeah its gonna be the same down here (If not worse) just take it easy which I'm sure you will.
-
Hi !
JoAnne, so since you pretty much narrowed it down to a Fuel delivery issue (Yes I should have just replied to your PM lol) Whats the filter like? I wonder, do these Subarus use a presureized fuel system like the GMs? "Won't run without the gas cap" Maybe that only applies to OBD-II systems (Our '99 Blazer had that setup) Just a random thought.
-
Hi !
Cause apparently only a few Individuals care enough to try to help. I would totally be over there in a heartbeat if you wern't 4 hours away (As I told you in PM)

Toyota Hilux, The Hilux name was used until the early '90s IIRC, until the T100 name came out along with the Tacoma and Tundra. Hilux is still used in the Japan market though
