Lol, LOVE IT!- What Have You Done to your Soobie lately? (Please post in here and keep it going)
Thats why I eliminated all the ABS crap on mine and pulled the bulb. ABS is garbage, it keeps you from controlling the vehicle in split second decisions in winter etc, I like being able to lock the wheels up to reposition my self.- My '95 Legacy: Trashwagon10
The only problem with the JDM lights, they have the projector lens which I find, hinders some light output.- My '95 Legacy: Trashwagon10
HIDs installed. Best investment you can make in any vehicle.- Hi !
Politicians are like sewers, they are all full of sh*t...- My '92 Loyale: Safariwagon
My lights are adjusted correctly, they shoot up just as high as my Toyota FJ, That has stock Halogen bulbs and people still flash at it, they also light up the interior of Small cars, again, they are completely stock. I found out, the HIDs make people move over, probably cause they can't stand being hit in both mirrors Fun fact, I was behind two officers last night, one was a Trooper in which I passed cause he was going to slow. Didn't have any issue with either of them. I am also not a fan of the Projector style, I prefer the entire housing being lit up.- My '92 Loyale: Safariwagon
Personally, I don't care about other drivers. My vision is more important to me, then theirs. If the lights are to bright coming at you, then look at the white sideline to stay in your lane (As I always do when a Porsche is coming at me) I will say, spotting Deer is way better now. It lights up way beyond the road sides!- My '95 Legacy: Trashwagon10
I have done an HID conversion to the EA82, now I am planning on a Conversion for the Leganus aswell.- My '95 Legacy: Trashwagon10
If I really need to fold the seats down for a payload, I can always unbolt and unplug the Box as it has Quick connects for the wires. I also don't have an AMP.- My '92 Loyale: Safariwagon
Now for pictures, poor quality pictures at that. These are only the low-beams.- What Have You Done to your Soobie lately? (Please post in here and keep it going)
Rob, are those Projectors? Or am I'm seeing things? Here are mine, first night with them and OMG! They light up signs 2 blocks down, they really light up houses and white cars The pictures don't do justice, but you can get an idea, these are only the Low beams. Didn't take pictures with the Highs, I will tomorrow night.- What Have You Done to your Soobie lately? (Please post in here and keep it going)
HIDs in most cases can last up to 4,500 hours Vs. A normal halogen bulb which uses a filament which can burn out in as little as 200 hours. HID bulbs are gas filled capsules that are rated for a lifespan of nearly 4,500 hours. HID bulbs also shine much brighter due to this technology. Mine are true HIDs, 6000k are the best, any more Kelvens then that and its pointless (Higher the Kelvens, the more blue they are, 15,000k to 30,000k turns Purple) I have a 35w system Vs. the 65w. Which is why mine are a tad bit blue® then I planned. If I had bought a 65w kit, 6000k would have been more of a Storm cloud gray (aka Rainy Day) color which to me, is the best color to go with. To make it short, proper HIDs do wonders with the EA82 light design. Here is an idea of what my lights look like. As I have yet to take a picture.- What Have You Done to your Soobie lately? I like how HIDs move in, and out, to change High/Low beam!- My '95 Legacy: Trashwagon10
Wired these up today! And yes, it is bolted to the seat, and Does move with it! Sounds great, and well balanced.- What Have You Done to your Soobie lately? (Please post in here and keep it going)
Swapped in 6000k HIDs into the Loyale, super bright and illuminating!- My '92 Loyale: Safariwagon
HIDs, in. Blinding bright! People will regret being in front of me, and so will the deer- My '92 Loyale: Safariwagon
Going to do an HID conversion, 35w 6000k 9004s. Pics after their in...! I am running Silverstar Ultras right now, the best bulbs I have ever had!- Hi !
I read on DI, Left you a reply too. Cheer up now- Hi !
Always, most of us are like a big family. Welcome aboard! Cheers! -Tom- What Have You Done to your Soobie lately? (Please post in here and keep it going)
A Resonator is what will give you the depth in growl. Longer the better, 18" length is common. It will also eliminate that raspy noise at higher RPMs.- Coming to WCSS? What are you bringing?
Look closely at this photo, on the right you can spot Trashwagon5 (EA81 bodied EA82 powered)- My 1993 Loyale: Work In Progress
Does it not engage? Check the connection to the cruise computer if you haven't already. Maybe I missed something, but a '93 Loyale with factory cruise? Must be the dealer add-on.- Hi !
I think you passed on your "Sickness" to me today, I almost died swapping headlight housings around on the Dodge today in the Hot F*ckin' 105* sun. Got them in though! Looks super nice now, Now maybe my Dad can see at night when driving lol.... - When you dont trust the bumper "guards"
