'95 Legacy Gear Ratios:
TheLoyale replied to TheLoyale's topic in 1990 to Present Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester, Baja, WRX&WrxSTI, SVXYep, T3 is the only thing thats stamped on the diff case. Nothing else. And my car is a 1995 Outback Automatic which had 15" 195/60/15s So does anyone know what "T3" is? (Not Terminator either )

'95 Legacy Gear Ratios:
While I was looking at the rear diff cover on my '95 Outback, I noticed it was had a (3) stamped on it, where as Jboy's '95 Legacy has a (2) stamped on it. His car has the 4.11 gearing, so I am guessing mine is 3.90, is this correct, as his runs at a higher RPM at Highway speed. Both of these cars are 4EAT AWD. Also is there a 3rd Gear Ratio? Stampings (1) (2) (3) ?

I would not recommend using the scotch bright pad, as I've seen Desmond's Fiat and he had some orange peal and flews. I always use sand paper. But give it a try.

86 3door Runabout:FWD<FT4WD, 4 lug<5lug, EA82 carb<EJ22 or ER27 swap, rust removal
So how were you able to mod the rear most mounting brace on the crossmember?

What orange peal? If you sand down the body with 120grit, wipe it off with a clean rag, you'll be fine. I didn't do anything to the paint afterwards, except wipe it down with WD-40 to moist it up for sh*ts and gigs. Try it sometime and you would see.

A Fine foam Roller and Rustolium paint, that is how Trashwagon10 has been painted, and everyone who sees it, can't tell. Smooth, Even, Easy.

What Have You Done to your Soobie lately? (Please post in here and keep it going)
When you get the new shoes on, test fit the rotor before putting it all the way on, you will want just a little bit a friction, adjust the star wheel as needed to give you right amount. Same rule would apply on a rear drum vehicle.

Yeah I would get new hardware too, the springs will most likely last, its the holddown pins which rust out, if those go, can I say "Lock-Up" Check out Rockauto, its $15 for the hardware Kit and I forgot how much for all 4 shoes.

Just like Drum brakes on an old Subaru. And how do you wear this down anyhow? To me it would seem impossible unless your using it for braking when your MS starts leaking!

I would rather work on a Carbed or FI 350 then Datsun Inline-6. Plus Ferrari used a GM 350 in their Daytona. And its a 500c.i Keith Black power plant or nothing

1995 Legacy EJ22 won't start when hot
TheLoyale replied to jboymechanic's topic in 1990 to Present Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester, Baja, WRX&WrxSTI, SVXCoolant Temp Sensor FTW, I said it a few days ago way before he posted the thread. I have a used one in my tool box that we're gonna try. Cam/Crank sensors would cause a no start issue even if the engine is ice cold.
