So, is this thread finally dead? Any revision in sight...?- What Have You Done to your Soobie lately? (Please post in here and keep it going)
Props on having the motivation doing that in the rain. I hate tearing into Suspension in the rain (Been there, Done it) Whats the story on that EA82 wagon?- What Have You Done to your Soobie lately? (Please post in here and keep it going)
+1 Lol!- What Have You Done to your Soobie lately? (Please post in here and keep it going)
Read my Engine code on the SPFI EA82. Its a 34 (EGR Valve Control) How do I fix this? My car runs just fine, so I don't think the EGR is messed up. From what I remember, the EGR kicks in after 1100rpm. So what is my next step?- What Have You Done to your Soobie lately? (Please post in here and keep it going)
Yup, That there is rust. We all love rust don't we....- What Have You Done to your Soobie lately? (Please post in here and keep it going)
Copy the IMG code from your Photo and then paste it during your message.- SPFI EA82 (Clearing Codes) ?
Ok, I will do this when Yeah you can't trust Chilton all the time, some of their torque specs are wrong aswell Thanks!- My '95 Legacy: Trashwagon10
From the Center of the wheel to the Top of the fender lip, is 17" -Tom- My '95 Legacy: Trashwagon10
Yea '98-01 Forester springs and OB struts. Sure I can do that for ya. I will do it tomorrow. If I don't get a picture I will post up the measurements.- SPFI EA82 (Clearing Codes) ?
Oh I see. Ok thank you! I'm used to the old GMs, where the Engine Light doubles as the Code Light. Thanks guys!- Tailgate Lift Supports?
Any new strut will be better then what you have now, all components are built to an O.E spec, so I'm sure the "Mighty Lift" brand will be of the same quality.- Lookin' for a Front Li'l Lift
- Tailgate Lift Supports?
I have totally been there last winter. God I hated that! ebay isn't a bad place, I have never not gotten what I bought, and the items were always as described. ebay is better now days then it was 5 years ago.- What Have You Done to your Soobie lately? (Please post in here and keep it going)
Thats snazzie! When I do valve cover gaskets on my EA82, I am totally going to paint the Covers nicely.- Tailgate Lift Supports?
I'm sure they are fine too, I replaced mine with "Armstrong" brand which Parts hut "Bumper To Bumper" stocks. No issues. I hate old struts in cold weather, standing under your gate and then "Slam!" Lol.- SPFI EA82 (Clearing Codes) ?
See, thats the funny thing. Long ago when I first got the car, the engine light was on. It would come on after start up and then start flashing non-stop for as long as it was running. I found out that ment there are no codes in the system. So I always thought the "Engine Light" flashed the code. The book (Chilton) says you have to drive over 7mph to enter the system, if so. how do you look at the ECU and drive? Will it just keep flashing the error code even after you stop? As for clearing the code, I have not. The light still comes on and off whenever it wants. I thought I read somewhere that this is a sign of a bad or going ECU? At least the car runs just fine!- What Have You Done to your Soobie lately? (Please post in here and keep it going)
I don't on "Honda" metal.... Muuuuhhaaaaaaaa!!!!- SPFI EA82 (Clearing Codes) ?
I have done that to a BMW 320i once. Lol!- Garage Pics - '91 Loyale Wagon
Thats pretty cool!- SPFI EA82 (Clearing Codes) ?
Oh, theres a light on the ECU!? Would there be a reset button on it aswell? I should have looked at the extra ECU Fox has so I can get a real good look at the whole thing, rather then trying to cram my head under the dash Thanks Tom, I'll check that out today. And as for unplugging the battery, I tried that, doesn't clear it. Unless I have to leave it off longer?- Just re-watched Cannonball run :)
There is a thread in the "Off-Topic" section which lists every Subaru spotting in TV or Movies. You'd be surprised how MANY Subarus are in Movies. There is a Loyale wagon in the "Truman Show" movie which climbs a sand dune. Check out the thread!- Steering wheel change?
You will only be able to swap on another EA82 style wheel, as the Legacy or impreza have a larger or smaller shaft to bolt it to from what I remember. So you could use a Loyale wheel if you like it better. I know what you mean about the skinny GL style ones. But then again, look at the XT6 steering wheels LOL!- What's your wrenching experience?
