My '83 GL: The Ski Wagon
I actually have the Window sticker for this car! $8,200 bucks total. I was reading the list of stuff that came with the car, there is only one thing I don't have a clue what it is. What is a Telltale Monitor, it was marked as "No charge" so it was Factory? This car also had the Pullout shade, which I didn't get, damn!

Adventure Subaru - Lifted 1997 Impreza Outback (Lots of pics)
LOL, how many Tom's are on this board!! That'll be cool to see another Lifter Legacy, Sedan or Wagon? Yeah Madison does have the subies. Although I doubt any of them you be anything but stock, most of the people who own them in Mad-town as Liberals or Lesbians lol. I actually saw a First gen coupe' coming back from Janesville sunday, how ofter do you see a 70s Subaru driving down the road eh? Some 20s dude was driving it, I should'a chased him down and see what he's up to.

Adventure Subaru - Lifted 1997 Impreza Outback (Lots of pics)
I haven't had a Legacy since Feb of this year. It was already lifted with Outback KYBs and Forster springs. Bummer on the brake line, luckily you had a hand brake which worked. Mine never worked in the Legacy, I'd have more luck sticking my leg out the door lol. I think the parking brake shoes were gone. Keaton's Legacy is pretty high, I was shocked to see the axles in an almost straight line. I also heard there is a 6" lifted Baja running around. One of the Landcruiser dudes I hang out with knows the guy who built it. I have yet to see it.

The 959, is just pure sex. I think it is the Best Porsche ever made. Rothermans did such an awesome job on making it a 4WD chassis for the Dakar.

My '92 Loyale: Safariwagon
'85-'86 are the only years I know of that had Black interiors, Perhaps the RX as well. Their pretty cool. Gray and Black interiors FTW! I'm not a fan of the Brown or Blue. I am going to leave the inner release levers and locks gray, I think it gives a good balance. I did paint the Seat trim Black, so that ties it in. I was thinking about the center console as well, but I'm worried it will stand out to much, or will become to much black. I also didn't have the motivation to remove it today, this would be the 24th time I've taken it out over 6yrs LMAO.

My '83 GL: The Ski Wagon
So, there was no 1983 Olympics (Winter or Summer) It was 1984 which held the Winter olympics in Sarajevo, Yugoslavia. The U.S held 4 Gold Medalists and 4 Silver Medalists. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_at_the_1984_Winter_Olympics Its a PITA to find info about the 1980s U.S Ski Team, I'm trying to find a list with their names, photos would also be awesome! I had the idea of finding one of them on Facebook, and PM'ing an image of my resto to them "Remember This!?" So, I am guessing my car was a fleet car for the 1984 Olympics? Would they have imported some of their fleet cars to where they were competing? Trying to get an idea of where my car could have went! I still need to do a Carfax....

My '92 Loyale: Safariwagon
Loving the black, I finished the rear door cards. I also painted the rear gate panel all black, it off sets all the gray, and adds a nice feel. Looking at the interior, and trying to find where else I can tastefully add black, so it all works together. I was thinking of removing the side seat covers (Where the seat belt runs though) and doing that black.

Check these out! I need to get two more.

$200 winter car has turned into an obsession.
If you have the money for all the parts, putting everything in, in a timely fashion isn't hard. If I had money or all the parts I need, I could have finished the Ski wagon months ago. Buying parts, waiting on people to ship them, is what eats up time so quickly, you don't even notice until its to late lol. Sounds like to you have a game plan with all these parts and retro fits!

My '92 Loyale: Safariwagon
I don't think the plastic bores would break, I've taken two of these apart already, including my original one. I just had those dumb rump roast copper rocker switch tabs and the little bearing wheels that fall out, this with is rather over complex for what it is. Chrome stripping is not a bad idea, although I think chrome would also have to make an appearance else where in the interior to tie to all together. Which is why I totally want to make the lock switch black and possibly the handle, it doesn't seems to flow just yet. Perhaps I should pull the dash and do it black, Black EA82 dashboard = Rare!

My '92 Loyale: Safariwagon
I think I will only paint the Lock switch and lever, I don't want to loose the white print on my window switch. Unless someone has a black case for it?

My '92 Loyale: Safariwagon
Should I also paint the Interior release level and lower gray vinyl black?

My '83 GL: The Ski Wagon
Put the wheels and rear dampers on, and set it back on the ground! I still new new pads all the way around, front rotors need to be turned, Calipers need to be painted. Still need Carb, Axle, Clutch, Front diff oil changed. The front struts are adjusted all the way up. Once I get the 16" wheels, I will then adjust it down a little as needed to get a nice stance. Hoping the rear adjuster turns.

If I were shorter I'd probably be fine lol. I'm 6'0 200lbs, likes walking on the beach, looking for someone who builds stuff with swizzle sticks. Lol

Subruise's Head-gasket Surface Gouge (EA82)
I agree with GD, as I said before. I would get the block decked when you have the cash, to have an extra good block. O-ringing tool eh, I have no idea. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/ISK-200-GRM/?rtype=10

My '83 GL: The Ski Wagon
So do the EA82 seat tracks bolt in place of the factory EA81 ones? Or do I just need to swap tracks around? I really don't want to swap seats in this thing, since the interior is really nice, and everything matches! But I totally agree, the EA82 seats feel better, more firm and hug you. Guess we'll see how it feels once I start driving it. Tom, XT6 seats are awesome! I was looking for a set for the EA82 when Fox had two XT6s, He had some gray ones that almost matched the stock EA82 seats. I'd like to go for a ride in a Brat, haven't rode in a Brat since Desmond Jones had the '86 with EJ22 swap and shot suspension and trans (Didn't drive the best) Rob, Oooo I always wanted a Crapwagon. Suppose I should've keep the Legacy then You meet me in Chicago, and you might have a deal. Although, you'll need a carb and clutch for mine :-p

My '83 GL: The Ski Wagon
Does anyone else think the EA81 wagon is a cramped Mofo behind the wheel? Just sitting in it and my little man is cramped and squished, and then your left leg is bent oddly when using the clutch. Who the hell designed this car? The Loyale is sooo damn roomy compared to this thing, and I have yet to drive it since I bought it. Maybe it feels better when you're driving, I forgot lol.
