  1. ok good to know. this gen 2 i speak of is a Regular Legacy "L" and its a Sedan. my gen 1 is a Regular Legacy "L" is a Wagon 5spd i know the trans wouldn't work. but figured i could sell it and wanted to know a gen2 would work in a Gen 1. i might and might not end up with it. i will find out tomorrow morning. odd... LOL modify the headlights and Hood to fit Gen 1
  2. After a Cleaning, Waxing and Change of Rims. here is what my Legacy Looks Like now. Parked down at the Fire Hall. just like i did Scubert Xt 8)
  3. in the old days. i got this front my father Front Clip Meaning: Hood,Fenders Headlights Everything in front. Rewiring ? major ? Rotors i think they would be the same. it runs the same 14" Rims i dont know Gen 2 Legacy. what else would work ? Windshield ? Doors ? Steering Wheel ? Transmission ?

  7. Update: fixed backup light Tarred Underside (typical areas only) Put XT6 Rims on Pictures: changed the air box: to Cotton Cone Filter: Problems to fix yet: Drivers Door doesn't shut Properly (don't have a Fing Clue how to fix) Drivers Side Window (believe its the motor after some tests)

  9. this is good question. i am wonder this my self. i to just got a Subaru Legacy Gen 1. have 185/70 R14" at the moment. i want to put 215/70 R14"s on it. already know that's not gonna happen without any sort of Mod. 185/70 R14: 24.2" Tall 215/75 R14: 25.9" Alternate size: 205/75 R14 26.1" Link to Tire Size Calculator: http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html
  10. the car had of been hit in such a way that caused the top mount were radiator bolts to bend back. since that's were the hood latch mounts it causes prevention of the hood latching. i bend it forward and when hood comes down just pushes the latch back preventing it from latching with the hood. i managed to make it stay and the hood did latch. now how to make a permanent way to prevent that bar from bending back again:confused:
  11. Hey All Well Since got another Road Legal Subaru time to start another Thread. just like Scubert's anything wrong that i need help with will be posted Here. Now i do need help with: Driver side Power Window. it doesn't work up or down (currently up) Passenger Mirror (both didn't blown fuse changed it and now only passenger) Hood Latch any ideas on how to fix ?   12. This Project My Continue. on my Recent 1990 Subaru Legacy. just got today. Cleaned up the car alittle removed some stickers will have all removed eventually Edit: Pictures i yet have much more cleaning to do. as for the hood. it was coming up on me when driving it back. luckily i was able to prevent it from coming up and hitting the Windshield (has happened to me before) and side marker was only duck tapped in and had to remove it before it fell off and broke. other than that He Ran Like a Charm! 210 Miles no Mechanical problems

  17. Right. i could never afford one complete and un-harmed. thought this would be good way for me to get newer vehicle like i always wanted. Pluses about it. Wagon Newer fix it right makes me look like i got money when i don't. 2 Options: 1. fix it then sell it for more than what i got in it. 2. Fix and keep for my self I'm wanting to go for option 2. but yeah. GG your right.(as always lol) i better check before i get ahead of my self.
  18. well this 2000 Outback was Hit in the Front and i think it might be repairable. Junk: Engine Radiator and few things upfront. Fenders are Flawless Hes Looking for an offer on the entire car. Think its repairable ? my father has the skills to weld another front and core support. i showed him the pictures and he said probably. Sould i make an Offer ? my max offer would be $300.

  20. i feel your pain...or should i say your XT6's Pain. i know you posted on xt forum. trying to keep it cool over their with my posting. hope you can get it fixed...if not atleast part it out hopefully Fix.
