I would take any Subaru really. As long as it was solid! Now that I have a WRX, RX, GL wagon ... and a past of others, I am addicted.

Agreed, it just tends to plow, when ya want to play. And the handbrake locks everything up. But lemme tell ya, she goes through some deep, deep snow. Dual range FTW!

I run into the same problems myself, with all these wind gusts up to 70MPH in the mountains. But I'm not as nice, I just warm her up, and let everything that wants to melt, melt. I would park her in the garage, but a few foot of snow/ice shies me away. Awesome pics man. Subaru FTW!

Yeah $300 might be more correct, but if his pressure plate, and everything else is borked... It shoots up quick.

I don't believe, as stated above, that clutch from the wagon will work. Are both engines EA82t? Are they both 5mt trans? Just buy the new clutch, and keep that Subaru on the road!! If ya only payed $75 for a running car, than it is a good investment IMHO. DIY and expect to pay around $500+ for everything needed.
