  1. i had that problem on my 88 dl with the quad headlight setup. I came to findout that i had the original lights from the factory. I replaced them with sylvania silverstars. They are bright white lights not blue. Those are buy far the only headlights i will ever use. You dont need to convert anything over. Its strictly a plug and play system. I can see 10 times better then i originally could. On top of that i replaced them in my minivan after one of the factory ones burnt out. They are much brighter then any factory light other then the expensive car lights. HID I believe Ben

  10. i helped a buddy install a washer and dryer in his new house a couple days ago. he asked me if i would take the boxes for him. i never compacted the boxes and put them in the back. sure enough with the hatch open a bit i fit them both in. Im sure i could of fit them in with the appliances as well but it would of been a pain to get them in and out. so 2 washer and dryer boxes for me. Ben
  11. no mine is 4wd but there are 3 problems in order of greatest to least 1. Money. On top of cv shaft i need to replace ball joints and while im at it i might as well replace the wheel bearings as well. She also needs braks but i think i can wait until next summer. 2. Time. Maybe you havent seen but i recently had twin daughters so i dont even have time to get out and have fun let alone tear apart a car. 3. Space. I live in an apartment so it cant be in pieces for to long, also its my only ride to work. 4. Lack of skills. Not really stopping me from trying it but none the less it is a problem. And with winter coming up it will make all of these even harder to come buy. Ben
  12. I know that i need to replace my driverside front cv shaft because its clicking. but is it normal for this clicking to go away after 5 minutes of driveing. Since its getting colder i notice it more but only for the 1st 5 minutes then after that when i turn or go around corners its gone. Any ideas. Ben
  13. umm yea i like your car. basically you did what i want to do Ben
  14. you would assume correctly just one wheel at a time. the other one was fine no movement up down or side to side but the drivers side had the side to side movement. lifted it up and saw what i believe to be the lower ball joint on the hub moving around. the whole frontend needs to be checked out i hear alot of poping and slop when i drive. dont always have alot of time to do this and yes i know it is very important. i just keep off the highway for now until i get the money to replace many needed parts.

  23. thats what i usually do is gather parts up and do it all at once. i have tools and people to help me i guess its just finding the time and money for the parts. no point in buying used if i can get the gck axels from amazon and not half to worry about replaceing it again. but ive got lots of irons in the fire on that car. im thinkin im definately going to need front brakes buy at least next summer at max. im not talkin just pads but rotors as well. ive got my new tires on and they are awsome ive never been happy driveing that car. it was always just something i was to be careful in. but the tires on make it ride so much better and handle better. ill start gathering parts thanks for your help everybody:) y dont i have someone around here with a plathera of parts lots of time on his hands. can change out an axel in like 3o minutes or less hummmmmmmmm:grin:
