What are the best front brake discs?
From what i hear, Drilled rotors tend to crack. If you do go a route like this you want slotted. As far as brembo brakes go you know they are good. But im not so sure how much price difference there is between the brembros and the duralast brand. Also, because you have an ea82 i was told that the rear drum brakes arent really much use, kinda like 90-10 distribution. It you went to a rear disc conversion which would be more like a 60-40 or a 70-30 type of brakeing system you might get some stress off you front rotors a bit. Most people on here notice a difference when they switch from drums to discs in the rear. Just something to think about.

I need a car
Kinda get whats comming to you. I dont care if its any piece of garbage i have its getting out that day. And if you are in the northwest the land of subys you bet your butt someone stripped the good parts off your abandoned car. From what your first post said you werent going back for it anyways. Good luck with any new car you get. P.S. are you planning on getting the remains out of the woods, because if not tell the people on here and they will get it for you and keep it for themselves.

need info on a suby gl 10 turbo
No we dont know what youve done to your car already. LOL kidding. Lots of info on here. I can tell you off the bat (because ive got spare time). The 1.8 gl turbos are finikey. They like to be run cool. If they overheat you run into all kinds of problems. Keep your cooling system at perfection level and you shouldnt have any problems. You might have disc brakes and a LSD on your car which are very desirable and awsome to have. If you have a working digital dash your good to go. Posting what year gl10 you have helps also. What we all tend to agree with here is if you dont have pictures of your new ride its pretty much worthless to uss, we need more juju to drool over:slobber:. Tuneups, stick to alot of oem stuff for the most part, these cars like them better. NGK wires and plugs, Oem T-stats, Make sure to replace your timeing belts because they tend to fail, but its a non interface engine so if they do your engine wont be ruined. Have i covered everything fellas.

Maybe were going in the wrong direction here but im thinking swap the suspension over from 4 lug to 5 lug so you can have wheels galore as well.

I have seen some very very cool full size vans. I wouldnt mind so much if someone was telling me something about that. But my wifes van is just for the family. We both know its not cool.

BRAT clutch job with a 4" lift discuss
Even though ive never pulled a engine or tranny on these cars im assured its easier to pull the engine then to get the cvshafts back into the transmission. Just a thought.

Already Made Them Mad
Another thing i found hilarous was he says the van was more capable then that subaru. Even a front wheel drive subaru would be more capable then these vans. We got my wifes fan stuck in 2 inches of slush.

Already Made Them Mad
Right but cummon, all i need for ammo is how many transmissions have you been through. Heres a post i got recently. Oh, but I do. My father bought a 1996 Subaru Legacy L wagon for the longest five-minutes ever. It was severely under-powered, essentially sat on the ground, had tiny wheels, had the classic Subaru "rattle" so bad that living in a batting cage seemed like a bargain by comparison. And that "brilliant" all-wheel-drive? Forget it. That car sat there in the winter while my parents borrowed the van. Unless you piled enormous amounts of cement in the back of that Subaru it didn't have a prayer. And then the head gasket blew on it, and a valve jumped the guide and we've never even looked at another one. It looked exactly like this, it was this color and everything, except it had plastic wheel covers. Look at that ENORMOUS front end, for that pathetic little "Subaru Boxer" which screamed, rattled, and cried if you ever even hinted at passing gear. __________________

EJ swap under way
For thos who have done the ej swap. Is that what you half to do in order to run the fan. Mount it on the other side of the radiator faceing the bumper. From the looks of it there isnt much room there where they normaly go.

Already Made Them Mad
I joined a Dodge Minivan forum to get some tips and tricks on my wifes van and i was mentioning the reliability of my subaru because someone was wanting recomendations on a 4cyl wagon. Yea there kinda snipeing at me about how subarus suck and there not reliable, hard to work on. I was like have you ever touched one man. Yea not a good impression what so ever.
