98 impreza issues...help needed
i have a friend who has a 98 impreza L wagon. This morning she said that she started the car, and let it warm up for about 5 minutes....when she got into the car, the temp was redlining, the check engine light was on, and when she lifted the hood, she said neither of the electric fans where running... anyone have any idea what happened? by the way, no fuses were blown. thanks for you help....

if you roll your car, it is possible that you could stick your arm out and get it broken, cut, broken off.....in wagons you can keep the rear windows down, if no one is riding back there. Up front you can keep your window down like 2 or 3 inches. Moon roofs can be opened 2 or 3 inches as well.

New hatch progress*updated 9/6* pics
Take place? I am going to garantee that it won't right now....now if my car can someday hang out with the likes of your hatch, i will be more than happy with it. And don't worry, it won't be red for much longer. Hopfully this hatch can make its own name for it's self.....

what models can donate rear disk for ea81 4x4?
I believe ea82 turbo cars have them, as well as RXs. The ea82 gl-10s might have them as well....don't quote me on this as i am just going on memory.

help needed now! clutch related
On my 80 wagon i had something similar happen. except mine wasn't gradual, it happend real quick. The clutch cable pulled apart right near the clutch pedal. The fat outer rubber covering of the clutch cable that is strapped down on the pedal assembly pulled apart, and wouldn't hold the outer covering of the clutch cable from moving around, hence no clutch, no return on the pedal. I think my cable costed me like 30 bucks from napa (nice quality cable, i was impressed). It only took about an hour to change out as well. If i were you, i would check that first. good luck.

*The edited version for the kids* hehe i love typos ok, i don't understand. It looks like they messed up my time for my last run. They told me i ran a 1.37 with one cone down. My friend that was riding *WITH * me says he heard the same thing i did. 1.37.....Either way, i had a very fun time. Learned alot, and next time i will kick the pants off of the truck suv circuit. Sorry Ed your going down:burnout: Who all is going to the next one?

Help! Key stuck in the ignition
you can also start off by talking nice to the brat, but if that doesn't work, yell and swear and threaten to bring it to the crusher......it should behave after that....

can i be one of the first to say thank you for shutting the f**k up.....woody, you aren't welcome here. Not by me, and i highly doubt that ANYone else wants you here. So shove off, go back to your corner of the world, and continue on with your self glorification.....We aren't asking for your acceptance, apoligy, or anything even close to that. Your mind numbing drawl has become more and more annoying. PLEASE DO NOT POST ON THIS SITE AGAIN.....I for one don't care to hear your bull**** anymore....

Flow, i forgot one thing. They changed the course a little bit for the afternoon session. And it was also hotter in the afternoon, so the track was drying out a lot faster than in the morning. later donny tyler

Rallycross on Aug. 24th; Hood River, OR
Yes, the Rally Cross is definatly a good time. My last run was balls out, i was stumbleing with my steering wheel because the turns where coming up so quick. This is an event that anyone with a subaru should try. I think next time i will be able to take a spot on the podium. Hopefully anyway. It was cool to put some faces with names. Everytime i meet someone from the message board i am reminded of how good the people from the board are. Ed, you were great, you gave me a lot of info that helped me out. I can't wait untill the next one rolls around. not that it matters, but my wagon is an 87, not an 88....And its for sale as well if anyone is interested. later on. donny tyler
