I only posted them because people were requesting it, so I did. It's not that bad anyways we were 20miles out of the city at 1:00am with no one else in the way to endanger and I even was using my signals! -

The clutch and injectors are here! : Clutch is a Stage 3 from Spec and had to be built. Injectors were custom made from Venom, thew a connection I have. If ANYONE wants any of the parts I used for the build let me know and I can get you whatever you need! There is hope for the ea82 you just have to search and dig deep and know the right people -
Project Progress Update!

Car has been dyno'd a few times but not with the current state of good tune. The last dyno showed a 14.3sec 1/4mile time (mustang dyno) 166whp and nearly 200wtq at 9psi of boost with the AFR bouncing around 13.8 to 14.5:1 at WOT, since then I have fixed the problem with the Walbro 255 Fuel Pump and have yet to make another pull with 15psi. Should be interesting. The Clutch and AWD Tranny Swap is happening this weekend. I'll keep you posted. -

The E-Manage Ultimate is a dream come true for the EA82, its working excellent and installation isnt bad at all! Everything works perfectly! I wish I installed it a long time ago, would of saved going threw motors to find out that the stock EA82 Computer and Fuel System are ************ and cant take even turning up the boost slightly! Now at WOT i enjoy 11.0-11.5 AFR's all day long to 6500rpm gotta love that. -

I've got about 1000miles on the new motor so its pretty much broken in, I turned the boost up to 8.5lbs for now and it's pulling STRONG, we went and had a company x-mas tree run this weekend up in Esdacada up by Fish Creek, there was about 3 feet of snow and the trail was very unforgiving as many of my co-workers with big trucks found out I had everyone baffled with my subaru, I never got stuck once and went through area's where big chevy 4x4's with big tires were getting stuck!!! 2 of those trucks had to chain up to make it to the top while I just kicked it in 4-low range and spooled the turbo up in 2nd gear and flew past them LOL! The offroad capability of these car's is amazing to say the least, I was offroad at WCSS7 and had everyone impressed with my stock air ride suspension (still works) I even had to pull my boss in his white F-150 4x4 out of a ditch he got stuck in!!!!! This picture is priceless : Enjoy :

Read this artical : http://www.mototuneusa.com/break_in_secrets.htm I have tried the easy route with my past motors and have decided to try this method, there is allot of research behind it and it makes perfect sense. -

Ok finally an update!!!! What a PITA this has been , the first block I got I went to put together and it runs out one of the head bolt threads in the block is stripped and it wont hold torque! Then on closer inspection I also find the front crankshaft oil seal to be damaged on installation, looks like it was friday at the plant and there was free beer at the bar if you know what I mean Anyways I took the block back and warrantied out another one, couple weeks later it finally shows up and yesturday I worked all day to lap in brand new OEM valves in the heads and put it all together, well at 1am I turned the key and VRRROOOMM its alive!!!!! Runing perfectly smooth! hehe took it for a test drive last night and guess who rolls up next to me.........Yellow EVO I played with him a little and only took the revs to 5000rpm since the motor isnt broken in yet and I hung next to his door the whole time! He was like Muwwhaha, the TD04 is at 6psi for now until the motor gets broken in. Enjoy the pics : -

I've seen tons of EJ motors blow up, maybe because I work at a Dealer and see them everyday? I've personally done several WRX Shortblocks with Rod Bearings knocking so loud you can't hear an air tool in the shop, ive also seen them throw rods allot. The most common is the EJ25 SOHC Head Gasket Woes Allmost a regular occurance The best EJ motor ever and still is the EJ22 Period Hands Down, I have yet to see one come in yet with under 300k on the ODO needing engine work, ive even seen once with 514,000miles! -

The VF39 isnt that much bigger than the TD04-13g I was running and I had that TD04@18psi and the motor did fine, the VF-39 is just the next setup up so that I can run the same or slightly more power at lower boost pressures. -
THe thread was with my E-manage blue, I now use the ultimate there are reasons behind this. The EA82-T Computer System uses a not so standard MAF Voltage range for fueling and to get all the power possible and really open up the EA82T you need to delete the MAF and convert to Map/Pressure, thats why you need the e-manage. The ultimate just makes things so much easier and better. I will eventually get a new write up on the ultimate installation and what not when things slow down, im working 12-15hour days right now.

I left out lots of stuff, when I posted last night I was tired Theres a thread somewhere with my complete list, its just too long to keep listing LOL I need to get off my arse and make another website for the car. Yeah I do have upgraded injectors allready, and soon I will be getting some 450cc ones from a company in california. some of the mods I left out : MSD Ignition 8mm Plug Wires Perrin Boost Controller Wideband O2 Monitoring via E-Manage Ult. Deleted MAF Converted to Map/Pressure System Port Matched Intake Manifold Gen3 Ported Heads High RPM Valve Springs 3-angle Valve Job I'm sure I left out some small stuff, but that should clear things up lol
-
I have threads around here somewhere with all the ingredients needed. I am however in the process of getting even more power with a brand new short block, bigger turbo, head studs, and some other tricks right now
-
I do have altitude compensation with my engine managment system im running..........? But I might have a point on the FAA stuff.

21k HARD MILES with nearly no break-in after I built it I drove it to San Diago and back at 100mph with 5 people in the car in 100+ Temps with A/C on

Lattest Dyno of my beast was 265whp@18psi in Front Wheel Drive mods : Stock Block (balanced and blueprinted) NPR Rings and Bearings TD04-13G Turbo (05 WRX) WRX Top Mount Intercooler Walbro 255lph Fuel Pump AEM A-FPR Custom Turbo Header Stock WRX Downpipe w/CAT Custom 2.25" Stanless Exhaust Delta 272 Cams Dual Row Radiator w/Dual Electric Fan Conversion XT6 Clutch Kit w/EA82T Flywheel 3.90 Dual Range Trans E-Manage Ultimate Engine Managment That dyno was at 18psi and detonation was hitting hard so I had to back it down due to my Injectors being maxed out time for even bigger ones!?!?!
-
I'm running 15psi of boost from a TD04-13G with OEM Headgaskets, Intercooled and putting out more than 200hp, no problems here. THE KEY TO THE EA82-T = ENGINE MANANGMENT, the stock computer MUST go. like anything you build up it must be done right, no engine can withstand ************ty tuning for long when supercharged or turbo charged.
