hi mine outback has problems and nobady does not know what is wrog when the engine is cold it does not have a power and the car is shaking we made big servis and changed oil, spark plugs, cabels, filters, distributur, cleen iac ventil (still in good working order), distributor(spark distributor) if anyone meybi know for such a problem please gave me idea what should be changed that the car will work

in europe we have legacy with push button 4wd and low range the gear ratio is similar to 5sped d/r from ea82 and impreza with 1.6 liter engine has 5speed awd low range transmition that gear ratio is similar to ea82 d/r

sounds like really bad head gasket I can not see any other thing here that can be bed -

that is the only reason why I am gona build it this is gona be the first frenken motor in slovenia probably far arround thanks for that information -

we tested a lot of EJ18 engines and I can say those engines can not be kiled

put in ej20g engine from impreza gt or legacy turbo and you will stat at 200+hp this is yust mine opinion this one is in legacy turbo

got stuck in mud with 7 years old summer tires here I alredy drained out water and some of the mud this is dl wagon I am building a 3" lift kit(only struts will be lifted) must weld diff tractor tires

take impreza EJ16 transmition it has the lovest low range in subaru and add 4.444 diff and pinion shaft wuld like to have lsd cluch type in the front + welded reer end with 4.444 diff take outback or legacy cut the middle of the car out and you will have an awesome wheler engine must be EJ25 phase two

whay do you want EJ18 heads put on EJ22 block just put EJ18 distributor on EJ22 head

dont need to change the heads the distributor can be fitted to EJ22 head it is all ready:banana:

EA82T are wery rare engines in europe Slovenia has only 10 turbo cars ever sold I know for five cars with those engins so it is a cool engine here

If I do a EJ22 swap I have to change the intire wiring but if I put in EA82T engine will it run with just the ecu

WELL i got turbo engine without wiring and need to know the difference in the wiring and if I change only ecu will the engine run??? need to know

engine is turbocharged twin cam and I belive it si EJ20 the transmition and drive train is from EA81 and it is automatic and you can see some off the interior from EA81

ok so I will start mounting this togheter next week I came from middle europe SLOVENIJA(Petra Majdic) and the town is BLED we have a lot of EJ18 engines and frend is gonna give it to me now I have to build adapter plate for EA-EJ engines and redril EA flywhelle thanks for the information
