It's under the intake manifold right passenger side? I just know it's in a tight spot but what do I need to remove to get to it?

No has not happened before but I've noticed in the last 48 hours it seems to take longer then normal.. Also it was 3 seconds continuous cranking It idles fine.. would live data from my scan reader tell me anything? Might not really matter much since I can almost see the outcome of this. One thing I have not really checked for is if it's worst when the car is cold or warm or the same when cold or hot.

I just came back from a quick bite to eat and I go and start the car and I'd say it took about 3 seconds of cranking before the car started.. a quick search here says the coolant temp sensor? I think the sensor is located right under the throttle body right? One thing I must ask is it really needed to drain the coolant out just to change the sensor?

So you see these are not the akebono's I changed my mind at the last min.. I also called rockauto to make sure they were an axle set since the price was so low.. ($25.51) anyways my other concern was if it had the gap on the pad side which it does.. pads are ceramic pictures from my htc evo

I don't think they are warped but the depoits left from the pads what I'm talking about now is metal on metal.i drive about 28k a year so I got decent time from them.

nice pads delivered tomorrow but I doubt the rotors are good anymore.. I cringe when I need to put on the brakes so I try to be as light as possible. I might upgrade to slotted when I get the rotors this week

mostly mid/high speed.. but remember I still have the other tie rod and lower ball joints to replace.. but I do remember when replacing the rotors with new rotors the brake judder went away.. My guess is the pads have uneven wear on them.. I'd say it only took about 72 hours on the new rotors for me to feel it again.

What I can remember with the Hwak HPS pads (my first time buying something other then OEM) did not dust crazy but it was still a decent amount.. but the Hawk's are not a full ceramic pad as far as I know.. speaking of pads anyone have the part number for the brake shoe? I know it's on this site someplace I just forgot to write down the number.

I just ordered myself came to $25.13 4 the large one and 2 #74 LED's all in white.

lol to show you how much I wanted to do this and fell off is I have the bezel for the gauge unscrewed for about a year now... damn LED's cost a lot to change plus having to sand them down..

yeah they have them but higher on the pads and shipping.. so I think I will stick with rockauto anyways.. besides I still need to get that motive power bleeder.. I tried one of those one man bleeder cheap kits with my impreza once.. man what a huge disaster! Also I want to say is I have brake judder now from what I understand is the pad material on the rotors... OK however back in march I replaced my front rotors only and I broke in the rotors/pads as if it was new but it still was not long until it came back again.. and it's not as if I ride the brakes (I have a MT) I'm sure it's due to the cheap non ceramics pads?

the foreground lighting on the dash in the picture are the lights above the speedo and tach that shines down on the gauges? It seems driving with another color would be annoying I was going to do something like that but I want everything white but not that annoying bright foreground flood of light.

I've already ordered many of things from rockauto.. just that the akebono pads I need for the front are delayed one business day

wow.. 2,500 for the trips I'd do I need to find stores that still have cases of oil... I used to buy them at walmart but they dont seem to have them anymore.

they are a little pricey :-/ btw I've had hawk HPS pads before and I hated them

What the heck lights do the foreground lighting on the gauge cluster?

I'm about 85% sure it's the pads that are worn (I get a scraping sound when not on the brakes) and sometimes not when going straight.. anyways anyone know of some decent better pads then these autozone specials that were on the car? these are the pads that came with it when I picked up the car last year and I can say thank god it's time to change them out they dust like mad... back when I had my 03 Forester I put on Hawk HPS but I hated that the first few stops took a lot of heating up the pads for it to have a decent stop. I think I will be going with the Akebono ProACT Ceramic Pads

What? what does everyone here change oil at 1,000 miles?

Well it's been awhile since I did the oil change about 4,000 or so miles ago. Also cam towers = gasket covers?
