  1. oops me bad then but the sales pamphlet I have from 84 did say the turbotraction wagons came with gold trim but oh well oh yeah I forgot to mention that 1984 sales pamphlet that I got from a friend at work that had it "laying around" can't wait till I get home too cause my turbo will be waiting for me hopefuly hehe
  2. well the badge being yellow is because on the "turbotraction" rigs the badges and some other things were gold instead of silver just to point it out
  3. lol welp 3 more days......... 3 more days.........
  4. Welp since I am the guilty party for gettin wagons into T/SUV in the first place. I think they should just leave it alone and go with it. Heck if they disbanded the class that durango would not be able to run even in rallytruck class (there is a such class) cause of he is WAY over the 5100cc limitation cause of the 4wd and the supercharger (I talked to the head of rallycross for this year about it already). A nd it is interesting that there are alot of people coming into T/SUV cause of it was a class that has been dying out. I for one am there to have fun first but I do have a little bit of a competitive streak in me so I like the competition that goes with it. But to point it out the T/SUV class is a ORG only class in fact they stated that once in a drivers meeting at one of the events. The rules that I have state that a region can start up a class for uncommon vehicles (i.e. Mopar products of the large kind, GM trucks/ SUVs, Ford trucks/SUVs, Toyota trucks/ SUVs, and old school Subarus). Another thing to point out is that this last year I did good with even a stock 76 wagon with street tires!!! So durango boy should just be quiet and go with the flow cause I was only aiming for 5th place all the time (yeah I know I suck LOL ). LOL heck there was one event durango boy was complaining about all the Subies being in his clas so I shot back "give into the temptation and get a Subaru" and 84soob was right there and he got a kick out of that one.
  5. welp a few years back I was cruising the gut in Salem and did a wheel spin in my loyale that I had at the time and there was a cop 2 cars behind me on the way around the guy was next to me and asked me if I was the one that did that and I said nope hehe
  6. ok first question why carb a turbo motor? And B why why why a turbo motor and to give you some advise the turbo motors heads are different than the carbed/spfi heads they are "dual port" instead of "single port" sorry my vw past has came back to haunt me LOL so..... just put the spider intake on so you still have the fuel injection and better performance especialy if you put a WRX intercooler on it

  15. you were trying to loosen a captive nut (as in one that is welded on) lol
  16. well for oregon at least most of the passes are "sanded" with Cinder which is the best for traction cause of it desentigrates (sp?) over time with cars driving over it and it melts the ice down enough to get a bite into the ice, unlike gravel which is nasty to windshields, bodies, and paint after awhile with cars kicking it up and it just sits on top of the ice, they don't use chemicals cause of the environmental concerns.
  17. nope that's also a outback and this one is a cousin of the impreza
