  1. I might be interested in that and it would be cool if the whole tape was filled up with the old subaru commercials including the 76 model year
  2. man to think $4999 new for a brat and if you find one in the same condition used as new they are asking about the same amount
  3. man that is cool but I paid 10 bucks at a swapmeet here in portland for the FSM haha
  4. oh hey check this out http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/usmb/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=11118
  5. yeah I know it sucks but it's work and I will prolly be a lil busy during the day for the next few months cause of my work is upping the production (shall we say $$$$$$ overtime ) but one of these nights you guys should come on over or else if I can talk the wife into goin over to St. Johns with me meet up over near you. Give me a call sometime soon.
  6. It would be cool to see him at WCSS 6 and oh yeah Bugaru whenever you find time to come on over I have the book that you have not seen yet
  7. Hey Billy time for me to chime in on this too lol but if you have anything more for 76 especialy manuals involving the EA-65 that would be great cause if I keep the 65 in the 76 I want to know what specs and stuff are on this motor. It's a bummer for me to have such a rare find as it being not mentioned in any repair manuals including the 76 FSM.
  8. ahh ok well it isn't a justy that was for sure lol and wilkommen to the board. sorry bout the bad spelling if I did misspell it
  9. RIGHT ON!!! I gotta see this sometime when we meet up sometime
  10. Brian your wagon should have a sticker on the drivers side door under or above the vin plate that says NON-CATALIST on it so there is your proof that it doesn't need a cat.
  11. well I know the key to my wagon works on Turbone's blue hatch (Sycosuby used to own both my wagon and his hatch at one time lol)
  12. congrats Brian is it u-joint or cv rear axles? And hey if you wanted to trade like say a EA-81 for a gen 1 tranny I am up for that lol cause I have the one in my wagon that I am yanking out for a d/r 4sp that is in my garage. And oh leadfoot (aka me) has had my wagon up to about 85 almost 90 with the 1400!!!!!
  13. mmmm EJ-20TT or 22b Man that would haul and would be cheaper to maintain and Rob have you priced how much it is to maintain a 911 6 cyl motor? $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ and alot of them
  14. man too bad all the comps here at work don't have soundcards (unless someone wants to call me and play the clip for me ) but that will be nice to see at the rallyX's and Ken I agree with the gearing in the 4 speeds (imagine hearing my motor either screaming it's heads off in 1st or bogging in 2nd on the course around corners, darn 57hp )
  15. yep for you just goto bowsers and ask for the tool for bug EMPI is the brand name for it so hold on and I might find the PN for it through bugpack
  16. :D :D I have had one for years in fact I posted about it a couple times on the old board I had it since I owned a bug and have used it on the bug and a few subies and yes make sure to get the one for bugs cause of the late model busses used the bigger axle nut in fact my tool is sorta mushroomed on one side from removing bug axle nuts since they are torqued to about 250 lb/ft
  17. hey Paul I have a rack that I am looking to remove off of my 76 it is from a later 70's rig so it might interest you
  18. he has that still? I thought he sold it well I was wrong then lol but he still has a bitchn nice STi even though when he runs he rides the rev limiter alot lol
  19. well if there was no plans I was going to suggest pietros (sp?) in down town milwaukie at night mainly cause of I can't do it during the day on weekends cause of work (yeah I know I suck but 10% extra pay to work special work week is good)
