  1. might also be a wheelbearing that has gone south had that happen with my 83 and that thing came out in 4 pieces 3 of which were the outer race
  2. I think he is talking about the rubber elbow that is right on the pump and yes Napa will have that. And I know what you were talking about cause that happened to me also on my old 86 and I thought it was the Waterpump until I took off the AC compressor and saw it blown bright as day. And don't use anything else besides that 90 degree elbow cause you will have kinks and possibly a blockage due to that. Also while your at it might replace those other hoses too and the one that goes from just under the carb to the block or the steel heater line that is just on top of the block so you don't have to worry about that one blowing later on
  3. lol that would be funny as long as you don't get a convertible and not a prob just offerin
  4. just did that in the OBS this mornin about 104 I broke off cause of being careful around other cars on a backroad

  10. yes defanately don't do it and at the rallyX the safety steward will give a good lecture about that kind of stuff basicaly saying do it on the course but leave it on the course, drive responsibly, and NO SPEEDING that's how come we lost St. Helens basicaly cause alot of people left there speeding all the time and also driving recklessly
  11. man if only he was in Omaha cause my sis and bro-in-law live there and are based at Offut AFB there is a good museum there that's about SAC considering that SAC was based at Offut
  12. hmmm makes me think that the bars for the wagon could be a lil heavier in spring rate cause of the extra weightwouldn't you think so Ken?
  13. yeah but for you it's a dry heat up here we have a lil humidity to add in not like over in St.Louis and such but still there is a lil bit
  14. me thinks that is the rear axle stub that he is pointing out cause Andrew had that same problem with his T-wagon and it should be ok to knock off like a 1/4-1/2 in just as long as it's not all the way back to the threads
  15. hey Russ those rims are 14 inchers. I got a PM from him tellin me about the rims and also subGSR you need to empty your PM folder cause I tried to PM you (I forget about what now but it was involving this post) and it said your box was full
  16. I thought so so might just keep the FI and just chase wires for the ECU to engine stuff
  17. Yeah I am sat up for it in fact they have some up at Clackamas Community College and I fiddled around with it and made a test plug for my large ID threading project in class on the lathe. I also have access to alot of machinery at work too so no problems with that. and with the EJ-22 isn't it Ditributorless?
  18. it's a good idea to do that that way you can repair it while being off the vehicle and if you want to be sure that is won't fall off you could put more wels on it to make sure it's going to stay there on the tube just be careful not to warp it
  19. lol your just gettin me downright jealous cause you have a little bit more intact stage 1 than I do just lookin and ooohhhin and ahhhin at the rear bumper too
  20. nah I am not drunk in fact I havn't drank a drop since lastnight after work I was just pokin some fun and it does work Mike it's just that the belt was off cause of the guy was trying to get to the alt/waterpump belt and gave up and John is right about the look and you shall find cause I have found a couple floating around at yards and also one on a rig upside down in a ravene in the hills above scotts mills and oh yeah also I never have had nextel and don't even have a cell phone anymore hence the internet access again cause it was cheaper
  21. I didn't know that many people were out there from the board. At least this next one we will know who's who but later ones we should have a congregation of the board members in a area so we could meet and greet I was there for that one but couldn't afford to run this is a pic of my wagon with matt driving it in the may rallyX http://www.pdxsports.com/photos/showphoto.asp?folder=200405_rallyx&photo=20040530_8770.jpg
