congrats Vicky isn't it great to have a brand new car? I know the feeling we only have 850 miles on the OBS so far! and we picked it up 3 weeks ago yesterday -
Yep it was a blast next time I am going to adjust the suspention to half way or even all the way up after seeing that pic with matt driving my wagon. And I got 11th but the prod/class was tightly packed as it was from the place I was at and 1st or 2nd place. I might even run our new OBS next time (we picked it up the day before the rallyX with 52 miles on the clock woohoo!

lol yeah and up here at RallyX they curse the old school subies especialy the Justys LOL but hey if I could afford to go cross-country with my 76 and 83 I would be there for that type of show -
man that is a state auction item and that is strange to see from them unless it's a item that was taken in a raid or something

ea71 engine mods
bajavwnsoobnut replied to soobiescoobie's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
wierd but anyway any ea-81 or older motored car will have the disty but look for a 83 or newer rig for a stand alone electronic disty (the one without the stupid "black box" on the firewall -

I'm going to go out on a limb here and guess that a new motor + new suspention setup from a later model subie like say a new school subie -
blowout valve
bajavwnsoobnut replied to Nick Leigh mtb's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
Caleb just the older Subies don't like it cause of the MAF sensor involved gets the hiccups if the charge is blown out into the atmosphere (read: blow-off valve) that's why a recirulating valve is perferable in this case which blows the charge back to in front of the turbo intake, The later ones that use a MAP sensor instead of a MAF can use the BOV cause of the measurement of airflow is done with pressure instead of the amount of air sucked through a sensor. So Nick Leigh mtb it would be a good idea to look out for a Recirculating valve from like an Audi/VW, Mitsibushi/Eagle, or even from a WRX cause most guys that have WRX's that hop them up just get rid of them and might just try e-bay or even here (but on the marketplace) for someone that is selling a WRX intercooler and just make sure that you get the RV with it also vbmenu_register("postmenu_135419", true); -

well I don't know if you can keep the plates on unless you have them on for show under the EU plates (most guys over here do the opposite) unless your in the US military lol but anyways might look into a WRX here or just try the dealership again and if they say they are too busy then goto the one near your winter residence cause the WRX's over there are a lil more powerful due to the loose emissions standards over on your side of the pond -
will be there on Friday night through wednesday afternoon my cell # is 971-506-7203 it is long distance but I can call you right back if you ring me up cause I have caller ID on my phone
-
well you could goto a yard and pull the various suspention pieces and then you can fiddle with them all you want including looking into UHMW or Delrin plastics for bushings and what year and model do you have? If need be in you want to hop over the hill some of us in the valley might be able to help you out
