Ruh roh... broken intake manifold bolts... (ea71)
even though they are spendy might look into carbide drill bits turbone and use a drill press with the speed sat at like 2000-3000 rpm and just take it easy and do a pecking method and also use alot of cutting oil (motor oil will work nicely) and drill out the ez out and drill bit

steering wheel removal
the reason why I said to leave the nut on is so that you don't get a nasty suprise if you pull on it too hard
-
steering wheel removal
loosen the nut till it's flush with the stud and then give the wheel a yank back hard and it should come loose after that so don't need the puller

Small Claims Court Victory...
well luckily for us up here that if the vehicle is part time 4wd/awd they won't run the car on rollers due to the liability involved so they just have you rev it up and that's it no load test, no nutn

envious of US subaru owners
ok for the TT question the main reason why the didn't import them is because of the EPA crap we have to deal with here in the states and the motors didn't sniff clean enough. Heck we didn't get the wrx until recently cause of that said junk. as for the amount here we're the #1 importer of subarus and have been for the most part since the 80's except for a lil bit of a burp in the early 90's and back in the 80's the #1 spot for the amount of subies was Bend, Or which is like 2 hours or less away from here. I read about alot on that subject from a book called "where the suckers mooned" which is an interesting book to read about SOA in the early 90's when they were hurting and were trying different ad companies also in that book they did mention the pronouncement of Subaru and the japanese pronounce it su-BAH-ru with empasis on the BAH of course over here we call it by other ways too lol

Did anyone ever try dual webers?
Well I remember BratsRus (Jerry) having bought a pair of 40mm single barrel Kadrons from me to try to make a dual carb setup. So....... JERRY!!!! ya might want to chime in on this lol
-
Hey whats the turbo light mean?
well that is meaning that it's the stock setup if you want to (and at your age I wouldn't recommend it though cause of the blue light force might go after ya unless you are driving responsibly) you can do a few modifications to up the boost and the max I would recommend for street is 10 psi and if it's going to be raced only (what I mean is racing off the street and in a sanctioned event) then 12 to 14 psi is possible before you start destroying things. oh yeah and also might run super in that rig so you don't blow it up or overheat it

great weekend at the JY
alot of stuff lol I have a 76 so might check what year cause alot of the stuff will only work for my year and also 75 somewhat so that skunkaroo can get stuff too for his 75 and oh yeah also is it 4wd or 2wd? that makes a difference too somewhat
-
great weekend at the JY

El Junkyardo
it's the same up here in the Portland area but if you go down to some spots in albany or eugene you can get a large pile going on and the guys don't even want to dig through it so they say like 100 buck for the whole thing
