  1. type as in the part # or just the brand cause they usualy come from the factory with NGK's and that's all you will find at the dealership in the parts department
  2. yeah especialy with the screwey way they deliver power to the tranny from the engine via a gearbox like oddcomp pointed out when I noticed the clutch was in the front of the motor instead of the back
  3. talked to oddcomp lastnight and sounds like it is T-6 and anyone gonna answer my question????
  4. hey Oddcomp either leave me a message on YM or PM me on here if you want me to do a pulley for you so you have a permanent way of making it work
  5. n/m didn't see the second page lol
  6. I guess I will hafta pass this time there is always next year I hope
  7. Yeah just thought I would throw this out to see if anyone can tell me if it's possible to machine an aluminum pulley for the crank ring that is cast steel/iron and have no problems with temp fluctuations that could make problems with timing as in shrinkage, expansion till the ring cracks, expansion till the ring makes a groove to the point it's loose, or anything else the reason why is I am trying to figure out a way to make a new pulley for Oddcomp if he decides to go through with it to make a prototype pulley to get the thing running and if it works with aluminum without problems then to make a few more out of T-6 and prolly sell them for so I can get a smithy or a simple metal lathe to make more. I will find out soon what type of aluminum it is but hopefuly it's T-6
  8. Well Craig just talked to Mike and for me I have nothing so it will hafta be Sat only cause I am working on Friday till Midnight and I can't even afford to do the tent thing
  9. even better yet would be a 2.5RS or 2002 or newer outback sport and I just pounced a Jeep Grand Cherokee with the 5.2 liter V-8 (318 ci) with my OBS! wierd thing is I am wondering if the 04/05 2.5 N/A motors have VVT in them cause I feel a major increase of power when I hit like 3000 rpm

  17. welp reality has hit me and I can't afford to go AGAIN this year but if anyone wants to stop by and say hi that would be cool
  18. that's about like me when I had my bug I would pounce on them on the lights cause of they were not aware that I could pop the clutch so easily but then they were ready at the next light but with the 83 I just put it in 4lo and have fun in the first 3 gears
  19. I am taking it that the cv in question has shafts on both ends? if so then you got the wrong part and for interchangability for gen 1 brats like yours they are interchangable
  20. yeah I saw that too and thought it might be Sean from Rallitek's old turboleg that he sold to one of his tech's it is an interesting lil beast cause Sean had to relocate a few brakelines and also "massage" the Firewall to make the intercooler to fit
