umm...i was there twice i made a appt to come by on sat to have them look at the hornet..one of the new people stalled me off ...first time said come back in a hr...of which i did then he said oh give me 10 min...so i gave him 10min.....i waited .and waited and waited finaly left....i never saw brian the two times i was there...just the new people.....the guy was rude......

May i Suggest also the o'l Brians subaru guru.".. repair in auburn...the NEW owners were rude and wouldn't help me at all....to bad Brian/Steve aren't running the show there any more....the NEW OWNERS drive HONDA"S...no kidding ....ive WAVED THAT PLACE OFF FOR GOOD>>.. spark..

it might no just be the internal gasket leak......i think my air suction lines may not be hooked uup right....roo bldrs sent me a new map of my lines i'll ck that out before i send the carb back... spark

Yup Kerry @roo builders....kerry's a great guy , he told me to ship it back and he'd fix it in no time and pay for the frt......the prob i have now is that the hornet is the only car i have and my left head gasket is now shot i need to get somebody local (seattle) that is good to do the head gasket......PS...anybody wanting to know about ROO bulders let me tell you.....Kerry is a upfront guy 100% ....no b.s..... i'd buy from him again...... spark

Howdy...regarding the mix with red /honey my DL just started doing this....iam screwed i can smell the diff on the tranny stick....(excuse me but this site is X-rated lol)....the only thing that i know of is to get another tranny..... iam at 224500k as of today.....and of couse i find out today ive blow the left head gasket....this is my lucky day............spark:banghead:

Yike the friggin hornet has takin a HIT.......besides my reman carb being screwed up now the car is overheating due to the left head gasket being shot..anybody have a good Mech.. .spark

Ok...i bought a reman 2BBl ...its only a month old....about a wk ago the carb started acting crazy....the idle wouldn't hold... ect....so i took it to a auto shop that works only on japanese cars..... here's what they said.....attemped to adjust carb.carb will not respond correctly,has "internal vaccum leak" bla bla bla.. ok anybody out there know about carbs??? is it possible to make a judgement without tearing the carb apart...? ive notified the comp i bought the carb from i have a 2 yr warrentee...just want to know if this repair place is correct... spark

well i ck my hose connections and found 2 not hooked up ....running smoother ...still smell fuel not as bad ....this reman carb is a month old...i had the help of austin..,,.once it was on it was fine then about a wk ago it started slipping out of tune ...i was having to goose it to keep it running at the stop light...anyway i backed off the idle 2.5 turns it barely idles but better than earlier today.. iam taking it in friday a.m. to a place in burien ...that handles japaness engines....Not the O'l Brians..which used to be my place of choice ....seem the new owners didn't want to deal with me and were not willing to help me the other wk end.......tobad that Brian and steve aren't running the shop anymore...oh well...iam also wondering if the throttle cable needs to be adjusted seem loose....like ive ive said iam a friggin Novis at this stuff.....lol spark...

Tell me about pumping the gas peddle iam a pro........lol.....nothing like cranking the o'l hornet up at 530am and watching the lights in the apts go on ..hahahhaha

well i dinked around with the idle screw took it all the way back.... the advanced it 2.5 turns...it idles a little bit now ,but iam taking the hornet in for a ckup on friday so i'll have them fine tune it.........spark
