Miles is there anyway to fix a cross bleed in a 3sp auto......my 87' DL , the diff and tranny fluids.are mixing ./i guess the seal is shot eh/ or is it time to look for another tranny? spark

ive taking the HONET down to arizona many of times......hoping to tour to MPLS with austin first wk of july if i get this 93 legacy wagon next sunday ,,then head back thru arizona maybe ...its like 1800miles from MPLS..spark sorry about the off topic guys.....

i changed my rad cap..about a month ago....now the wiring is showing a fray... boy what i would give to be done in AZ i love it there..its 62f and cloudy in SEA.. spark

ok the 93 L i looked at had all the records ect...had 148K+ but when i crawled under the engine........yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee both covers leaking and one head leaking....so i took it out for the drive...lol pulled a llittle to the right no biggy... came back and popped the hood....just as i thought.....smells like chicken???? no way.. smoking a lot...the valve covers were leaking good... no deal......the orig price $2700 then they called me afew days later and had dropped it to $2300 ,,so iam expecting a call in a wk or to .... lol....... Still looking for that nice Legacy aWD ,auto for around $2500..... spark.

Ken,,,i talked to Brian (subaru guru) about a yr ago...he told me that if i got a crate engine he'd completely do everything for about $1900....thats just to much.... but then again..if your going to do it right.................what choice do i have.. also...iam not sure about this..but i think iam cross/bleeding on my diff/tranny fluids....is there a way to make sure this is true????? --------------------------------------------------------- Boing;;;;your japanese crate engine runs around 40 to 50 orig miles when they are imported from japan..... japan has stricked epa standards gas engines have to be replaced between 40k/50k....iam a import broker one of my accts (can't mention) imports container loads of japanese engines/trannys into the usa ...they test them before selling them to the buyer..... there are lots of companys the import japanese engines/tranny's ..scads of em.....spark
