the Dead on screw in front ....

as you all know iam a friggin Novis at engines..... here's my prob.... i have a rebuilt 2bbl carb......had it for one month now and has been running ok until about 5 days ago....seems to be running rough..and the idle is not holding.. i tried adjusting the idle and brought it out all the way ...still no idle just back fire and rough idle......could it be my throttle? it was never adjusted after the carb was installed....??????? spark

sorry i don't but hit home depot i bet they have one....call them first thats the best way to go until it dry's out.....spark.......

oh don't get a cheap cap (i just bought a prestone..at shucks last wk )..the prob i had was that i had bought a cheap one .it only lasted a little over a yr...........good luck Spark

can you say RADIATOR CAP???? give that a shot....i changed mine and that was the prob...........Spark

wow...what a concept lol..ive been having overheating probs with my temp gauge/i replaced the cap this a.m. i noticed the old cap(2yrs old/cheap)was full of gunk and it rattled a lot...iam testing the new one today if thats not the prob ive picked up a new thermostat and replace the old one...... sparkser
