  1. I saw an older wagon or sedan in the junkyard one time with seats likr that, almost got them because they looked awesome. The door panels also had a sweet emblem on them.
  2. Honestly, I thought it could have been better. There was no dinner get together while we did the raffle like in years previous. I also wanted a personalized mug as in years passed. The old gen crowd a lousy turn out, and a wheelin run wasn't really organized like last year. I wheeled once all weekend, and only for an hour or so. I totally dig the site and think its one of the better venues the show has been in, but otherwise I was bored, and tireds of the whole scene. A lot of people I talked to seemed to feelm the same way. I don't know if I want to try to make it next year, with gas getting more expensive and everything else, I don't know.
  3. How early sunday? I believe I have a ride into seattle, but options are good.
  4. No Customized Glasses this year? I just paid for 2, but couldn't find any info there. :-\
  5. Yeah why do you need to remove the diff and axles? Does it bnd while driving or something? I'm not quite sure in that respect. And yeah I'm doing this to a damaged, rusted, Brat....now.
  6. After looking through the board and the net, it seems that a few people have started one, I haven't seen any pics of them though. It seems like people suggest that the cv's need to be removed for some reason? Why would that be? I wouldn't be using it to tow anything heavy, just a few hundred pounds max. Any info is appreciated by those who have tried it.
  7. Ok so I have 1 chance at this. I have the oppertunity to make a subaru Trailer out of a Brat shell. I remember talking to Monstaru about this at wcss8, and he mentioned cutting the Brat right in front of the support where the inside seats bolt to, like where your feet would be in the cab. That way, there would be room in front of the actual trailer for bins and stuff. Has ANYONE ever seen or thought of a subie trailer at all? How would this happen? I guess I could leave the whole rear assembly in and just make a hitch for it that attaches underneath somehow? What are your ideas? Suggestions?
  8. All right thanks for the help. Looks like this is gonna be a fun project.:-\
  9. I don't think you have to change rear ends. I did the swap to my Brat, and didn't do anything to the reare end. DEFINITELY get the 5speed kit from Bratsrus1 its a MUST.
  10. I need to remove the windshield in the Brat, but the seal is OLD. I can't seem to get the seal out, I read through the FSM and it's of little use. I tried to just kick it and I broke it a little. :-\ So how do you do it when the seal is cracked and doesn't want to come out?
  11. Thats what I'm trying to figure out. I'm gonna be going to a baseball game on the 4th, and will be flying out the 5th, but the 2nd and 3rd are wide open. I'll probably go to pier 39, take the tour of alcatraz, tourist stuff like that.
  12. Sweet thanks. I'd heard of the GM upgrades for the older EA81 models, but hadn't heard much for the 2.2, I'll try looking around and seeing what I can do.
  13. Anyone ffrom the bay area want to get together the first week of July? I'll be in town hanging out the 2nd, 3rd and 4th and won't have too much going on, if anyone wants to do anything.
  14. Whats the amp rating on the alternator on a 90 2.2? Are there any upgrades for running lights and a stereo and other stuff? Thanks.
  15. Even Better: Thats a nice looking Brat, I'm in the process of transferring all my lift stuff over to another one now.
  16. Hey can I get a guaranteed ride into Seattle Sunday, July 1st by 1 PM? I'm gonna catch a seattle Mariners game that day and it starts at 1.
  17. Lets talk clutches with the ej22 swap and a 5speed D/R into a Brat. I have a basic brand clutch kit for an xt6 that I bought from autozone, but I haven't heard good things about them holding up in a wheeling rig. I looked through the centerforce site to see about a dual friction clutch for the xt6, but couldn't find any info there. I checked exedy clutch and didn't see a clutch there either. What other tough clutches are out there for this swap? I want something that'll hold up to some abuse. Thanks.
  18. I have some small detail questions about the swap. I'm assuming the window wash fluid resevoir gets moved? Does the hill holder need to be removed to fit the ej? What else needs to be removed from the ea81 specifically to make the ej fit? Thanks.
  19. Yeah one of those old round ones I found in a pile of stuff lying around. It works though we got it going last week.
  20. Saturday. I believe we're still on, but will have to see tomorrow.
  21. Yeah we can meet at my place, Brian has to drop some stuff off and I need to show everyone whats been going on there and everything else.
  22. Jibs replied to suby man 16's topic in Off Road
Most of the Brat kits fits a wagon, the rear shock extensions are different. They bolt differently to the wheel wells between the 2 cars.
  23. I'll try to make that weekend, but no wheeling for me.
  24. Would anyone want to pick me up at the Olympia airport on their way through? The reason why I don't know if I can make this one and ESPECIALLY why I can't bring a car to this years show is that I leave for China on July 3rd, and I wouldn't have much time to drive back, get the rest of my stuff packed and take off from there. I'd like to make it, but would have to fly into and out of Olympia. If anyone can help out, PM me.
