  1. Anyway, back to my point, (hate to post hijack), but, the o2 sensor and OBD feedback system will accomidate for the nitrous use.
  2. true, but the o2 sensor and OBD feedback system will take care of this.. by the way, the 14.7:1 stoichiometric number is for the highest catalytic converter effeciency.
  3. run a wet kit then... i have modified my intake to accomidate a wet setup right before the heads.. im sure its able to stay cold. as for a full time solution, i think an intercooler or ram air effect are probably your best option?
  4. yeh its hydraulic clutch... Oh.. and i sure as hell wasn't intending to use the EA82 axles or swing arms.. im talking FULL transplant. I bet that EJ25 has enough to turn 31x12.50's ...
  5. Well.. I might have the option to do a "buy-back" on my impreza that i wrecked back in september... I completely killed the body.. everything from headlights to taillights, not one body panel is anygood. I'm assuming the drivetrain is good still. How difficult would going from EA82 power to EJ25 power... some subaru crawling and not some ugly mutant crawler. Im guessing the complete drivetrain with all the electronics for the ECU. Do I need the engine, tranny crossmembers? What else?
  6. Look Turbone.. everyone knows if you go more than 3" of lift your askin for trouble from engine, tranny, axles, bearings, etc.
  7. I didnt say that. I only told you to get ahold of Kelly.. I'm crappy when it comes to carb'd.. I'm alot more firmilliar with SPFI and MPFI.
  8. Torxxx, PM Kelly (Snowman).. He's pretty good with those.
  9. Yeh.. give it some time.. you'll wish you never went 8"..
  10. yeh umm.. ok.. pm me for that or something.
  11. Eh.. I took another time-out and did a bit of cheifin..
  12. I wouldn't. Welds are just fine. Hooks up AWESOME in snow. Understeers bad on ice because unlike a locker that has give, a weld has no give.. the end result is "slide-ways" Basically in corners, the outside tire spins a bit more than the inside. Lockers are designed to accept the change. Welds aren't, The inside tires will generally break loose by the difference in tire rotation speed on the outside tire. It sorta helps it go sideways. For snow only.. definately the way to go.. Ice.. Well.. I definately have yet to get an LSD.. I'll definately be getting one. My opinion is... get both.
  13. I already tried taking my 4 bolt hub, knocking two studs out (as recommended for 6 lug conversion) and instead bolt it to a 8 lug (ford 16" 1 ton rim) and its not happening.
  14. cone washer/spacer wasn't re-installed with hub or bearings are toast..
  15. PK - No doubt, I did ask like 5 different times. SubaruJunkie - F off.. Up yours. you don't have no room to talk. northguy - note: pk's name isn't in sig anymore. sorry to be an a$$hole right now.. Goin back to time-out.
  16. Just a little proof that sarchasm doesn't work on paper or screen.
  17. run dual napa legends 1000 CCA batteries... bout 300 bones though.. thats worth the money. nothin like 2000 CCA's to turn a car over @ subzero temps.
  18. pfft... ok which moderator removed my post. i find nothing wrong with it. wtf.
  19. yeh.. i wouldnt buy PK's stuff unless he puts that damn skidpan block in.. its highly inconvenient not having ONE spacer that SHOULD be included for what freekin price we pay for one kit. Straight the F up.
  20. PK no trucking this time
  21. ive almost thought of liftin a subaru and puttin 24's on.. it CAN be done... would look siiiick on the right subie.
