hey im puting a snorkle on my hatch. now i put a old air box on the top of the tube so it kind of looks like a safari snorkle top... with a little i mean a lot of imagination but ne ways i was wondering what way should the top be pointing.. the front... down a little bit or backwards so no mud gets in it. or would forwards better for like ram air and what not...? for any one that has or have had a snorkle tell me if u get a lot or just some water in the snorkle when it is forwards.. thnks

well i did waht u guys said and it was my carberator.. i guess somethign wasa in their so sprayed some carb cleaner and i guess its not their now..heh well it runs now thnks.. o is their a way for me to seal up the cap with the least amount of moister to get in thier ...? and i should prolly get snorkle..

i went wheeling and went thro some big puddles. and about 30 min later the engine starts spittin and suptering. so i assumed it was the distributer cap wet. so i took it off and dried it out. then i thought evertying would be fine but it still was spiitin and suptering so i thought maybe some water got in the intake it should be out soon. but about a hour later its still spittin and sputering. i push on accelerator and it dies but some times if i slam it down it goes but i cant barely push on it and its just geting worse. whats wrong..? oh its a ea81 84 if that helps

i think ive heard something like 20+ cars or something liek that....but i dont really know if thats right or not

yea i got the vortex in the sega gt 2002 for xbox and srry to say but it wasnt the best. i expected more of it... even all decked out and weight reduction it didnt go that fast but cornered really well.

ya i need to put a snorkle on my beast. lots of times when stalled in water and water leaks in not fun :-\ but when u drive out of the water after stallin it oh ya hey about what did you get for the snorkle like just elbows and straight pipes

mines not getting too good of mpg i think im geting less than 20 but then again i think my weber needs to be tuned and i have big tires on it. how do you tune the weber to pass emissions is it hard with a weber on it too pass??

my friend had that problem and yonked the o2 sensor out and it ran fine. but i think his sensor was causin the surging so he just unpluged it.

you could just take off a legacy steering column (has the joint)and custimize it for what you need.
