I am selling only the adapter its self, and it will fit the ER27's. the reason for adapter only is due to the different demands of everyone's oil cooling needs/wants. For example...I am not going to use one of these adapters...for i am going to use a remote filter mount kit along with an oil cooler...non-thermostat'ed. These adapters have a t-stat in them, which is good for the street/autocross/track days. I am shooting for all out racing-izm. I will pm you soon.

I would still have the 9.5:1 engine if it didnt run so lean, had instaled the WRX's TMIC, and a few other small things that I have now. It died because....it ran LEAN alot, and it detonated on the pump gas...ALOT. that killed the already old worn out rings, and it suffered an exhaust valve meltdown. Fotunatly, the head and valve seat was not hurt. This build I am hoping to start on soon should have somewhere's between 8.0 and 8.5 compression. I personally think that the crank and rods are plenty good....but i might do something with the rods just to be safe.

forget that...im gonna pretend i didnt understand/care/even read about that staggered throws thingy. I can see where it might have its drawbacks...BUT...i think its very minimal, and I would think that ONLY at the VERY EDGE....could there be that final last gain for a few tiny more ponies....if the firing order was re done....but then again, I could be wrong. Still, firing order stays stock...but engine management does not. MS+DIS.

interesting....i wonder if there is a way to change the firing order and cams to suit a 1 4 3 2 order....or somtin...

for speed/handling or off road action? For off road action, any year will do. For speed/handling, the 85-86 would be better, as they are lighter to start with. But really, any GL-10 from 85-89 would be fine.

Please exaggerate on the "stagered throws"...please. Ive never heard of this, and I would like to know more.

Tizzle, Marck, Warp3, carfreak85, snotrocket, pleiades, and myself look set on buying the initial peices to get the headers and DP's produced and avalible. Marck and pleiades look set on buying just the header, while the rest of us will be buying both. We will be buying 10 of each from TWE, those that are not sold in this group buy will be avalible for sale at a later time ofcourse. But right now, I need payment from: Tizzle (both) Marck (header only) carfreak85 (both) snotrocket (both) Warp3 (both) Pleiades (header only) WJM (both) At this time, the header is $399, and the DP is $187. I need 100% of the cost of the parts now, and shipping (no more than $50) before they ship out, once they arrive here. TWE has told me to allow 8-12 weeks for them to gather materials and build all 10 systems, and to have them shipped to us. PM, email, call or reply here! Its go time!
