  1. Dragon...maybe. If I get it fixed. *HINT HINT* No 1/4 mile times. that was comming this friday.
  2. only made form 1990 to maybe 1992. Its a 3 door with an RX body kit. Avalible in white or black. Turbo optional. single range FT4WD only. most were non turbo. Where as the the GC8 is a WRX...the GC6/GM6 is the 2.5 RS. Imagine comparing the WRX vs a 2.5 RS...but the 2.5 RS having an NA version fo the EJ20.
  3. thinking about it...but i think that might go in the wagon. I'll let you know.
  4. the wagon will be 10 times better than the last time i prowled the streets/autox courses.
  5. No. I cant afford it. Plus I taked him into keeping the car...sorta.
  6. so far, it still holds...it warped bad tho. Ive made up my mind. The wagon IS comming back.
  7. Oversteer+not being on go pedal=RX into tree. LF inpact. Fame bent. Windsheild toast. Its over. It's gone. Intense EDIT: 1987 SUBARU 3 Door RX 4WD TURBO... I found it in the back of a used car lot...rotting away, counting its days until it finally got sent off to its junkyard or crusher death...until one day, I spotted it from a far. After a few months more of waiting...it was in my hands. Shortly thereafter...Pleiades (Steven Rankins) and I restored the car back to near perfect running condition...few small things here and there...but otherwise it was great. Pleiades and Dr.Biggly took it to the 2003 Grassroots challenge and did very well in the Autox, ok in drag, and ok in the show portion. 36th or so out of 70+ cars was not bad. In the meantime...I continued working on the wagon, purchased a 2.5 RS sedan...pleiades fooled with the RX some...etc etc...I sold the RS to pleiades, and then i purchased all of the RX's plarts along with it...after 2 engines in a row the wagon ate through...the RX was in line for some go fast parts. The RX loved it. It responded well to all the mods...set records, turned heads, it got me places, it got great gas mileage. my only two issues: no cruise and no power door locks. Little things like AC and lesser cargo room than the wagon were overcome...summer comming up, the AC was an easy fix. As of yesterday...the RX was in showcar condition and had near perfect handing and adequate power for its weight. It was ready to dominate some autoxs... Then, I screwed it all up....or either the RX said "enough is enough!" Either way, I know I messed up. JWX and I (Myself driving) took it out for a little shakedown run before filling it up with fuel for cornerweighting setup and some dyno runs...we went down a little twisty section, one that I drive every day usually 2~3 times, forwards and backwards...at a moderate pace...say, 6/10ths...in the last 100 yards of the road, literally...the rear steps out, and I make the mistake...no go pedal...instead I'm still on the brakes for the stop sign ahead...curb and trees rapitdly aproaching...I get it to full lock right in no time...starts to strighten...too late. BAM, curb...BAM-crack-snap-pop-glassbustingsound-thump, off the curb...the left front eats a tree. Quick "WRC get out look at damage and get back in and make it to service" and we are in motion. Tire is going down...crap, the hood flies up. There goes yet another windsheild, and the scoop is crushed. After getting the fender off, and the battery out...the frame is pushed into the 2-4 side camgear, its amazing the belt didnt snap off. the rim is curbed badly...possibly bent. Everything suspension wise looks fine. Ofcourse, the fender is toast, bumperbeam, absorber, cover, turn signal assy, headlight assy, radiator is warped and the fan got pushed into it (its a rare thick 2 row rad), the air dam looks ok but it got ripped from its mount..the trim peice is ok, clips got ripped up ofcourse. But the frame...its...found some rust in it, and it just collapsed and bent. I dont think there is any straightening it. There are no more covers/abs/beams left in the country, no are they avalible, so there is no OE fixing this. There are no parts car around to fix it. It's just....gone....and its time to move on. The wagon is going to return.
  8. They are not really man sized...KYB GR2's front and stock RX dampers rear. Yes, under damped.
  9. A lot fo 3rd party books and manuals have info screwed up. I would only go by owner's manuals and factory (from SUBARU only) information for this stuff. To my knowledge...SPFI across all years, regardless of 5spd/auto/2wd/4wd or any combination of those are all the same HP/TQ per RPM...and its somewhere between 85HP and 92HP...no idea on TQ...but that 101 fig sounds about right. I know MPFI is 97hp and something like 105~110 tq...Turbo is 111hp@5200 for 85~86, 115hp@5500 for 87+ and both have 136 tq at 2800 rpm. Mine.. ..234hp@5000 and 312tq@3500.
  10. k as in kg/mm meaning the springs are 350/450 per 'english' measurements.
  11. Springs: Front: 6k Rear: 8k Ride heights: (top of tire to fender clearance...eye ball'in it with a tape measure) LF 0.0"----RF 0.5" LR 0.75"---RR 0.9375" Camber: LF -2.0---RF -2.0 LR -0.5---RR -0.5 Toe: Front: OUT by A TON Rear: OUT by a HAIR Castor: Good. Corner weights: Ummm...I'll know tonight. Hmmm....I wonder which way it turns BEST right now...? I'll give someone super special prize if they can tell me from these numbers which way the car turns and goes sideways...and which way it turns that its stuck and stable.
  12. 5th High @3500=75 MPH and 31 MPGs with the RX.
  13. you must have an 18G turbo on that thing...there is no such thing as turbo lag on an EA82T with a stock turbo. I vote the cats are clogged up and/or other problems.
  14. Can you make me a set of these in 13"x9" (Yes, 13 inch diameter and 9 inches wide) with the stock backspacing? In white ofcourse...
  15. Change of plans. We can get WAY better pricing through Top Speed. We will be getting the bushings though Top Speed now. Right now bushings are in the process of being MANUFACTURED...so lets be a little patient.
  16. Correct. I've been pw3nd a few times by civics/integras...
  17. I was looking thru the EXTEMELY short rulebook for the United States Touring Car Championship. Its cheap. The rules are funny. I wanna do it. I am awaiting to hear back from USTCC on homologating the RX for competition within the series.
  18. gotta watch out for those Hon-duh's in SM....
  19. the supra has got some small issues...but the power band is more adequate for road course racing. There is a civic hatch beside that blue EVO...its awaiting a complately built block to go into it. Turbo ofcourse.
  20. Yes....and yes. Several 04 and 05 STi's..only one is stock and its an 05. Supra..was TT now is LARGE single turbo. The GST...meh...its got some things here and there...2wd..not impressive. Outback? hahaha...fastest outback in the world. LARGE turbo, $12,000 axis longblock...etc etc....quite fast. EVOs? Meh...nice cars to look at and drive...would not own one.
