yeah, we've gone over that car before. i think the conclusion we came to (by using a picture at a different angle) was that it's on a toyota frame and drivetrain because of the offset rear diff.

VERY interesting idea. no way in hell would it work. if the structural integrity of the walls of pipe actually held up and didn't crack or explode, the joints would separate no matter what you'd do to it.

but wouldn't there be a higher power potential with the extra 1.3 liters? what if you did everything to the EG33 as the EJ20tt? take the 3.3, smack two turbos on it, port and polish, headers, you know...do everything you can, and i'm SURE that it would be stronger and faster than any STi or WRX engine with equal mods
