I remember seeing a diamond edition gl for sale in Evergreen, Colorado a couple years ago, the body was so rotten though.

My 92 legacy L, the winter ride

The reason for my "alias" scooner.
Took it for a spin around the block after work, after -22 degrees it fired right up and just purred. That's a beautiful thing my friends!

That light bar turned out really nice, is it possible to add another headlight in each one? It'd look pretty badass and be super bright with quad headlights right?!

my 83 brat
Someone gave you the brat? That's happiness brother haha. On a side note every time I see Brat I think bratwurst and call them bra-w-ts in my head. It'd be cool to build a real monster of a brat that looks dirty, mean and loud and call it the BRAT-WORST haha.

my 83 brat
Yes sir, I became hooked when the first loyale I bought developed a hole in the exhaust after the Y pipe and let that glorious exhaust sound out, I thought holy crap that sounds awesome so a sawzall was recruited to tweak it a bit more, now 8 subies later im even more addicted haha, nice brat by the way rattle can camo is the best paint job ever!

EJ swap Autocad file?
Uberoo, i wish I had a plasma cutter that would've been awesome. I did however have a portable torch set made by Lincoln and sold at home depot at least thats where I got mine. I filled the acetylene tank which was only a 10lb and started torching. Man, it did not go too well at first because my torch tip was screwed up and by the time I bought another I had used up too much gas. I was able to at least get about halfway through and used my grinder to finish it up. Seriously though I'd rather start buying pieces from people bit by bit and just have fun putting it all together next time ha. Except the wiring harness I really enjoyed doing that.

I love the work so far, thats a great lookin wagon. I was driving around earlier and seen a really decent one in my neighborhood thats been sitting for awhile. I'd love to find a 5 speed wagon in good shape and lift it and convince my wife that it is absolutely necessary to keep...thats the toughest job of all. I'll be checking back often, good luck!

1986 3door Coupe
I used 13" brat wheels on an 85 GL once and couldn't get the front wheels to clear the stock calipers, theyd barely hit...so I got the grinder and grinded off the edge of the caliper so the wheels would fit, then painted them with some rustoleum and it worked great, never had a problem.

1982 Subaru GL Hatch, Turbo, "Quatro San"
I love it! 65' the first year of the twin I beam suspension if i remember right. Those style trucks have the best body lines and that 300 is one of the best engines ford ever made. We will keep an eye out, just sucks that most of them around here (colorado/wyoming) are rotten from road salts back in the day.

That Ford truck in the background looks pretty sweet too what year is it? My dad had a 64' F100 shortbed that he swapped in a 455ci olds engine in it when I was a kid and it was badass. Im still on the hunt for one that me and my son cam have fun with. Nice hatch man, good luck with it!

electrical problem....
Scooner replied to efseiler's topic in 1990 to Present Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester, Baja, WRX&WrxSTI, SVXI had a 99' Outback that I bought from a real sleeze who owns a subaru repair shop in Lakewood, CO and when he sold it to me I noticed the headlights would dim when I pressed on the brakes, I checked the battery and he had installed some off the wall tiny battery from who knows what, maybe a atv? Haha. It was amazing it worked, I went to advance and bought the correct battery for the car and it fixed that problem. Just my 2 cents.

Love the outback thread, I wish I could've kept mine but we had to finish remodeling our kitchen and we needed the money. Someday I will get another one and I will be keeping an eye on your thread, you've done a great job man, can't wait to see more!

The reason for my "alias" scooner.
Dude, the white one did too! It reminded me of a disgusting weathered thong cause it went all the way up the hood in a thong shape like a V it was amazing! Haha

I was cruising back from an elevator way way out in Torrington, Wyoming and decided to drive through a small town because I had seen some old cars. There were a couple of torino gts so I thought I'd take a closer look, there was this little white beauty sitting in the yard! No rust I could see and complete. I left a note saying I'd buy it if they ever wanted to sell it but the place looked abandoned. There was also a loyale there, i'll put a pic up of that too. What a waste.- The reason for my "alias" scooner.
- coolant leaking between engine and firewall
Scooner replied to lynhill's topic in 1990 to Present Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester, Baja, WRX&WrxSTI, SVXJohn thanks for pointing that out, I should've been more specific, I meant replacing the coolant hoses haha. You mean taking out an entire dash isn't an easy fix? Well I guess if you dont use a sawzall and hammer like when I took the harness and ecu out of both legacy donor cars for swaps its not easy to get to. - The reason for my "alias" scooner.
