  1. use a pair of pliers and a rag , maybe even safety glasses , will run out , do it outside , on gravel or grass , and of course no smoking, spray the fuel line with lube, around the fuel filter,
  2. i have the filters, but no housing, yes in the blower motor that would make sense, thanks
  3. none there ,no place for a filter, unless i am looking in the wrong place
  4. looked again , no cabin filter in my 2000 legacy , kinda strange i guess it was a option
  5. decided to change the cabin air filter, took apart the glove box no cabin air filter, is it in a different place,2000 legacy wagon a/t 2.5 , not outback
  6. it would not hurt to change the front and rear diff also ,80-90 weight oil
  7. well at autozone they have both , a all purpose , or atf for gm
  8. what type of tranny fluid should i put into my 2000 legacy a/t , 108,000mi , stores around autozone, wal-mart, been alot about it,
  9. when ahead and bought it, dead battery, anyway put a different battery in it, had a alittle idle problem, was looking and a mouse had made a home in the air box and ate away at the air filter,
  10. no rod knock , runs great , needs brake work, no hg problem, the other motor from another subaru [ 97] had the rod knock, could you look around the yards for a drivers side rear tail light, for a 2000 legacy, + whole rear white hatch, thanks
  11. got a 2.5 motor from a 97 outback , would the motors be the same in a 2000 2.5
  12. timing belt already changed , + alt, + fan belts, new tires, i am 100 miles north west of columbus , ohio, 50 miles north of dayton
  13. so by putting in the subaru stop leak , this will stop the inside leaking, the car has 108,000mi on it , no over heating ,
  14. what years were bad for the hg problem,on the 2.5 motor, looking at a 2000 legacy wagon a/t 108.000mi not bad shape, no hg problem , thanks

  16. looking at a 2000 legacy L wagon , what motor should it have in it, 2.5 or 2.2 , i have not seen it yet , thanks
  17. both my 97s get 24 city , 2.2 motor awd, a/t , my 95 awd a/t 2.2 motor 22 city
  18. finally got it fixed, 25 bucks, shop had to take off cat to get to the 02 sensor plug, , and put in new 02 sensor which i had, all good now,
  19. wife was driving the 97 outback , loud exhaust, i was thinking hole in pipe, not so , the oxygen [ front ] blew out , ok, decided to put new in, the piece that you screw the oxygen into also blew out, help on fixing this, ?? suggestions
