Yep its the one from craigslist... I'm transfering all the good parts from my pickle over to the new one. And then we are going to drive it as a ea81 engine car for a little while. And gather parts for an ej22E swap.

Just picked this up today, a 1981 subaru gl 4wd wagon. $350.00, 95k original miles. Never seen an interior in a subaru this old be so clean in my life. And the exterior definatly isn't bad either. Has one minor rust spot that needs to be tended to soon. And the engine has some bad problem... We think it threw a rod. Anyway here are some pics...

I'll see you guys there. Hope the rally car makes it there and back after I beat the crap out of it at trail. And I haven't sorted threw some things lol.

I got 2nd place in P4 or whatever it was called. Pretty cool pic of my car thanks to wayne flynn... I hope we can still rally cross somewhere this year cause i'm off to a good start.

I actually have a video of it i got when I bought the 1990 legacy rally car. Its a promosional vid has some cool stuff on it. Shows the cars racing on a big circle track and stuff.

I took the bar out and it is fine... I had a replacement ready for it but it wasn't broken. So I dunno whats up with that. I'm thinking maybe it had just been removed at one point in its life and they installed it wrong? Anyway ya i got my wagon back in relatively same shape. They toasted my clutch pretty bad. But I only put a n/a legacy 2.2 disk in there. I think i'm going to go a little more beefy next time.

I have a sagging problem on the right side of my car and I noticed when I changed the struts and shocks that the LR torsion bar is set with much less tension then the RR torsion bar. I tried to give it more tension by pulling it off and readjusting it but I couldn't get the bolt holes to line up. I figured you off road guys would know best sense most of you have reclocked the torsion bar for more lift. I just want stock ride hieght without the whole car sagging about 2" to the left.

Thats od... My wagon is in the 5's 0-60 and its a big fat legacy touring wagon. Must be the 4.11 gears.

Total price for front and rear bumpers for my 83 wagon... With rear 2" reciever?

theres no evidence taken in a case of a 4k dollar car being stolen and recovered. Simple joy riding... Not on the top list of prioritys for the police. I'd rather have them out there busting crack heads who sell to school children anyway.

Ya they toasted my clutch a little bit which is probably the worst thing they did. Besides stealing it. Who ever did it got away with it too. They left the car parked on the side of the road. Thats all I know. May they all burn in hell.

I got her back safe and sound around 8:30am this morning... It was dumped in everett. Only damage was the pass side window was left down and it was raining out... Also I think they gave my clutch a run for its money. They stole some change and left me with a can of pepsi... And alot of combs???

Ya thanks guys... I'm in seattle so its big search area. One more signifigant thing about the car is that it has a big dent on the pass side fender. There might be more by now. Its probably sitting in someones garage right now getting a swap into an older impreza!!!

My Ruby Mica 1992 subaru legacy turbo wagon was just found not in my driveway this morning. The plate number is 375 PGR it is a WA plate. Please if you have seen my car contact me at 206-669-2207 as soon as possible. I have to send this to all the subaru forums. THIS SUCKS!!!!! PLease guys help me find her... It has a chrome dual tip muffler and a 5speed tranny swap also has a small boost gauge in the drivers side pillar.

Actually I was talking about my new turbo wagon... 1992 legacy turbo wagon. But the automatic in the pickle was bad too...

I think that car belongs to the owners or something. That place sucks don't take your subaru there... They hurt subarus! They swapped trannies on my turbo wagon (Previous owners) from a turbo tranny which is a 3.9 to a N/a tranny which is a 4.11 and they didn't change rear diffs, and it ruined the tranny. And then they tried to charge them to fix it. But instead i bought it and got a really nice legacy turbo wagon for 800$! So I guess I kinda like em for that haha.

Ed that totally sucks... Someone tried to steal my old pickle wagon once. But it had no carb so they wouldn't have gotten far! LOL IDIOTS!!! I installed a 24hour survailance camera outside my house so if it happens again it will be recorded onto the computer. Glad you got it back sucks it wasn't the same as when it left. :-\
