I can't make much sense of the results... It doesn't really say what position in open I came in? I know I wasn't 6th... -

I plan to bring both of my cars and test different tires setups and cars... I just bought a 1996 impreza brighton awd coupe! I want to see which car I am fastest in and with what tire setup. Its gonna be expensive though... I guess $60 is worth it to see what car I can handle best in rally cross though.:-\ -
its no that hard I beat about 4 wrxs 2stis and got 2nd to a 280hp to the wheels wrx that was fully prepped for rally cross. All in my 1983 ea81 w/ weber 5spd d/r gl wagon

I am having a Fia 8 piont roll cage installed into my legacy and it turns out that 2 of the bars are short and not bent right!!! Aah!! I had planned to pick the car up this weekend and now its looking like it will take another week or more. :-\ I have never missed a car as much as I miss my legacy. Its killing me! The supplier of the cage is based in the UK, luckily the company in oregon I bought the cage from "Safe Drives" is fixing the problem for me. They have good customer service!

I'll be there just because it will help me get closer to club rally. My car will be done by then too. -
I thought the computer on my legacy was either under the dash or behind the passenger foot rest thingy? But there seems to be one under the front passenger seat. And it has a little red light that is flashing 9 times. LONG pause 9 more times... I don't have any check engine light but I did pull my abs fuse? I am wondering if maybe this is my abs brain or something? The only reason I happened to see it is because I stripped out my interior. I did searches here and on legacy central and I can't even figure out what this lil silver box thing is. It is a 1990 5mt Legacy sedan.

Well that sucks... There goes my dream of making a 4wd ea63 or ea71 coupe...

Thats really cool dude... I had the same idea with one of my walls in my room with the Subaru world rally team logo.

Man it was a bad weekend for subarus... Don't mean to go off topic but I too bent my a arm on my legacy on saturday. I somehow hit a patch of ice or something and went sliding into a curb messed up one of my nice legacy gt wheels and bent my a arm to crap. Its fixed though. Then my wagons disty just died out of the blue. That was fun. Its pretty easy to change a arm and rod plate on a ea81 though. So you lucky there... Can't say about the wrx cause theres no pics! Ouch...

I have only had 3 problems with mine in the couple of months I have owned it. Its a 1990 legacy sedan 5mt and the previous owner probably never changed oil because it was BLACK!!!!!! And the antifreeze was blue. I'm thinking he put washer fluid in there? So the front main seal went bad after going 100mph. The alternator died because the battery was bad (I guess thats 2 problems right there) And the IAC valve needed to be cleaned. But now the car gives me no problems and I drive it pretty hard. It sees redline almost daily and I accelerate quickly all the the time. I make sure to change oil and check it every week. I don't see it giving me any problems any time soon. It seems to be a very reliable car and engine. If taken care of. I have 158,000 miles on the odo and it had 151 when I bought it.

I want to move there pretty badly... Looks like a really cool place to live! -
If I could do it all over again, I would go with the 4spd I liked the gearing in my old hatchback more then the gearing in my wagon with the 5spd anyway.

Most embarassing place you've been stuck in your Ru?

At wild west club rally this year, I was doping along not paying attention to my driving going about 20mph on the flying finish stage. I was a crowd control dude... And some guys where joking around and fake timing me with the stop watch as I was going around the last corner. So here I am looking at them not the sharp rump roast corner coming up I look forward and say ****!! crank the wheel hard to the left and i'm just sliding and i gave it a lil gas and that just pushed me closer so I hit the brakes and that lovely ABS came on and put me right into a 5 foot ditch. It was at such an angle we put a can of coke on the drivers side window. I was quite stuck! Got pulled out by a dodge power wagon started her up and drove off. After I took the abs fuse out and threw it in the trunk! If I can find the picture I took of it I will post it. Its pretty funny. Now I have a nice creese in my fender and a scratched up bumper to remind me of that little adventure. -
Well poop... I had snow tires for the legacy but they blew out on the last snow run and I haven't gotten around to doing anything about it. I am trying to get this one family with an outback to go so maybe I can hitch a ride with them. I'm trying to sell my wagon so I don't want to run it off a cliff or something.
