Yeah... it has settled. I have 12" of clearance up front and 13" in back without a lift. Should be great when I add the 2" lift, 14" pugs!

Finally replaced my front struts and installed RX springs on the front of my GL10... gained another 3" and HUGE improvement in ride quality. Big thanks to AKGhandi for the struts and help with the instalation:headbang:

Where'd you get that book. When I pull my GL10 Turbo 4wd off the road for body work and ej swap I think I will have to go this direction... light bar and all:headbang:

That's correct... had to replace the radiator support due to damage and it doesn't come with the center brace but I am going with the 3rd eye anyways so less cutting for me.

Paint day came and went... painter got sick and had to cancel... reschedule to November. Tucked away until I'm back from my vacation... just in time, snowed yesterday.

Finished the last of the major welding on the body... Start putty tomorrow...

Pulled the engine to access the engine bay. First time out of the garage since last October... Radiator support installed... still on target for next weekend paint.

Time is getting short... I decided to do it myself. Cut the ends off, reshaped them and fabed the middle. 18 gauge will be much stronger than factory... will weld it up this weekend.

I posted 3 seperate times with no responses... even offered a finders fee .. time to move on

Spent most the weekend grinding, treating and welding... I hate working on the under carriage (slow and dirty) Yanked the damaged radiator support. Have to rebuild the the apron since I can't find one. Body should be done by the end of the week...

Got an unexpected surprise... seam and floor rust... I was aware or the suppor rust. A little more work than expected. Cut it out... grinding and welding tomorrow ...

Lowes has bins of fasteners in the bolt/screw dept. You might also check in at Napa.

Figured out why my seat felt loose (rear seat bracket)... of course as I started to weld my gas ran out:mad:

LOL ... I'd love to help rebuild those panels... don't know if the wife would be to happy about going to Wisconsin instead of Hawaii next month Driver's side rocker replaced...

Check plug wires... that's what caused my issues.

New rocker goes in tomorrow Pile-O-Rust

Passenger side rocker done... had to do a little re-shaping Starting on driver side tomorrow... Goal is to have the rockers done by Friday, the doors by the end of the weekend, pull the engine and have the hood and front clip finished by mid next week and have it ready for paint (putty and sanded) by 9/23.
