  1. Damn, I just heard about this. Sorry to hear Will..
  2. ???? I've had beer in plenty of bars in Montreal, Quebec and Toronto, and I've bought alcohol there as a 18 yr-old too.
  3. I'm sure you don't need anyone else to tell you that's probably not a smart idea...
  4. Interesting.... I'd like to see you pull this off.
  5. How can you just use the hubs? Don't you need to mount them to the knuckes? '05 STi stuff is compatable?
  6. Interesting. FYI, word on the 2.0 forums is that the stock WRX turbo is a 13T, not a 13G, if thats what you're planning on using.
  7. I see a problem. If you were doing the swap with a GC, you'd need the '05 rear subframe to get those rear hubs in. Is that setup a fit for your RX?
  8. Will, how were you planning on putting this 13G/VF7 combo together? I thought that IHI and Mitsu turbos were incompatable.
  9. I feel like a real n00b around seriously old-school Subies. Pardon my ignorance, but what exactly is a GSR?
  10. Northwet, thanks for the heads up on the management. Exactly what control does this setup afford? Also, why MAP over MAF? I've heard the opposite is more tunable.
  11. What I've heard is that certain Leon/Loyales were made from recycled steel that was less durable than the new stuff.
  12. Eh, most old Loyales I've seen are rusty. My 91's fenders have practically rusted off.... there's a hole in the rear quarter panel big enough to stuff your fist through. The car's still reasonably solid underneath, though, I never feel it flex excessively or anything. Hard for us to tell how bad yours is without seeing it, but I'd guess its solid enough for at least a few more years service.
  13. I'm starting to think I'm a little too new school for my own good. I hear "GF" and I think 1st gen Impreza wagon.
  14. Me too. I'm trying to turbo an NA EA82. I'm planning on using EA82T plumbing, USDM WRX IC, or maybe an old AWIC if I can find one. Then, add water injection, boost controller, VF11 or VF7, maybe even a VF8. I'm going to need an AFC to prevent busted pistons, I know, but the more safegaurds the better. Anyone have anything on this MS&EDIS? I'm too lazy to search right now.
  15. How much have I got to spend? Not much... I was planning on some sort of AFC. How hard is it to use this MS&EDIS?
  16. :-\ I have never once heard anyone have a bad experience with Jamie. PM me if you don't want to post it, please.
  17. Doubt it. Pretty sure Subarus will be going to the 5x114.5 pattern on the '05 STi hubs.
  18. You forgot something, Tim. Water injection - great safegaurd against det. It's definitely going into my EA82T.
