  1. I love it personally..... Now I just have to get crackin on those "Phil Fan Club" T shirts... Jeff said he needed one, and I know Rick needs on too.
  2. I may ditch this one.. thats kinda too far and I'm really lazy and bored of taking the SW to all these meets.
  3. Damn thats a long way... Maybe we can meet up else where so I can follow.... maybe a premeet meet? or maybe I'll just go to Mikes and follow him:cool:
  4. 87 Carb > 94 loyale SPFI conversion 4" AA lift kit with bad camber AA wheels Wal-terrain tires Toyota skidplate 3.9 LSD cut trim and bumper in rear, some holes drilled in body too:dead: Leaking slightly only power steering! Angry Eyebrows Euro'd plate Tint Shake cup antenna topper Remote Start.... yes, NO power windows! NO power locks! NO A/C! But I can start it from 30 feet away... or make it attack people if I leave it in gear, great bored fun! 13" clearance
  5. My 87 SPFI lifted wagon is running just the stock PS electric fan on mine.. I ran it to a switch(a rear wiper switch so it looks stock) and during the winter 90% of the it's off. I "have" A/C but its not quite fixed yet...
  6. Pre 96 will be OBD I and generally a better choice. They are also non interference, so if the T-blet brakes, you're ok. As far as why not the turbo is because they are hard to find. Even if you find a long block, they are generally scooped up by people for a huge amount of money as they are a great block to do high power builds. I personally went EJ25 SOHC. People ask my why I went there and not EJ20T, but I got my motor at a great price. You should be able to find a EJ25 as well.
  7. +1:dead: I'm actually planning to hook up the Power Steering... it's on the list:-\
  8. OMG! You tricked her gooooood. Congrats mang!
  9. Thanks! and its the Ebay kind.... no real name brand, but cheap! http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=005&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWN%3AIT&viewitem=&item=150110140833&rd=1,1
  10. More bling came in the mail today! Old pulley. New bling I even got my tach to work! YAY!
  11. So I've been running my EJ25 Rx for a while now, almost a month and well over 1k miles. I've hooked of some things, and slacked on others, but my question for today is Where do I hook up the tach? Anyone that has a EJ in a old school and a working tach, PLEASE TELL ME!:-p Anyway, last week I went on a road trip to the magically boring land of Wyoming, Laramie to be exact. I took Russ(caboob) the engine for his coupe and got some pics! Then Russ punched a hole in my car and I went home. First order of business was more BLING Then I added more rice Then I fixed the nice hole. This is before: Then after: Proving once again that me and Bondo are not the best of friends. And if someone could tell me where to hook my Tach to, that'd be great:grin:
  12. Actually.. it's only like a year and a half.... Roni had Dorothy, which she sold in Feb 06... The meet was in like Jan or so, so shut your hole! Anyway +1 for 4" of ground clearance.
  13. If we go somewhere more on-roadsey we can also kinda do the coupe meet Russ wanted to do. I took him the engine today so it should be done rather soon... right? What about Bear Creek Lake Park? We went there before and I brought a grill and we just cooked and stood around... in fact I think I still have some pics laying around... ohh! Heres one:lol:
  14. Actually... I just put a 2000 SOHC EJ25 into my Rx. Wiring was cake, not bad at all, not that much more work then an OBD1 or even an EA series car. I also run my stock single row radiator:banana: And I agree that any engine you get, get the harness and ECU as well... unless you want to get an aftermarket.
  15. LOL... I've taken a WRRRRX in my 6 I think it was an auto though
  16. So go roll your blazer already.
  17. Back when Roni was looking for something new to replace Dorothy, the XT Turbo we test drove an 2.5I.. what a turd. Get the WRX, and I'm sure someone wanting the fancier suspension and hood will gladly trade you parts. You should be able to make some bux off him too.
  18. I love my XT6 as well and everyone seems to want to play, but I choose my battles. Once this kid in a 2.5 Rs gave me a thumbs down, and I was really hurt... I just HAD to change his opinion. Only thing that has ever wanted to play with my 2.5 Rx was a mustang, I assume that everyone else just thinks its SPFI or something:rolleyes:
  19. You need to be on AIm right now... How are the fenders on the black Rx? Is it gone? I guess I should ask that first. Did you save that hood for me? I might have to take a trip up there and get some things... i can be talked into it if you have some stuffs for me:grin:
  20. Is-Russ's-coupe-running-yet? Bump:banana:
  21. Not me... I like the body panels on the wagon... not bent
  22. Dual Carbs?!?! Thats twice the headache! The Turbo has more powa anyway. More on topic... I don't want to do a rally:-p
