  6. so im posting this for boosted84wagon and myself... anyway dan has a 84 wagon with quad lights, this morning we came across a single round front end off a (86?) hatch...even though getting all the bezels and peices, by looking at the rad support we noticed there seem to be extra brackets tacked on to it for this setup.. .so has anyone else done this conversion? will it work with the fabbing of some brackets on the stock dual lights rad support?

  9. oh and on my coupe i have stock Y, stock resonater, and a melon launcher...perfect sounding for a daily
  10. well i had a few different setups when i had the SPFI in the wagon first i had stock y(with cat), stock resonater, no muffler>pretty loud but not to bad 2nd: stock Y, no resonater, no muffler> really really really loud, sounded compareable to a harley with pipes, sort of:rolleyes: . lots of poping when in high rpm's and letting off the gas 3rd: stock Y, no resonator, 2 1/2" pipe, OBX canister> not too loud and perfect IMO 4th: cateless Y, no resonator,2 1/2 pipe, OBX canister> it was loud again and anoying..without the cat i lost back pressure and my lowend suffered hope that helps
  11. well if im correct the early ea82 gauges had yellow/orange numbers on the cluster where as the later ones (87+???) had white numbering
  12. on my wagon everything is red...swapped in colored bulbs, some with leds, made custom red filter for the fan speed #'s, i still need to soilder in led's inside some of the switches as it's not 100% done.. i plan on doing the same for the coupe (red), however with the gauge cluster i will be using blue and ultra violet backlighting and dayglo needles, simmiliar to that new VW look

  17. the roll/fold the inner lip to can tire clearance on lowerd cars it can be done with a fender roller or a wooden baseball bat as you can see i still need to finish the rears... it was a pain cause the metal was pretty brittle and it started to chunk and crack on me but this should give you an idea of why some people need to roll their fenders
