  7. so boosted84wagon and i went out in the coupe tonight..came across the sickest mud pit!! at one point it got really gnarly (like 2ft mud and ruts, standing water) went from 45mph to 0...had to massage it out in 4 low. dont think i could have made it any further unless i had a little more groud clearence and some knobbier tires... anyway its super fun so if you PDX guys are down for a little mud'n get together.. post here. pics will be up shortly as were going out for another run.

  11. hmmm reminds me of when i had the turbo in the wagon the first time . 30 min later i launched it and scheared the end completly off one the rear axle in the diff
  12. im going to take care of the droping in the motor, however as far the tunning goes i will take it to someone;)
  13. Ok,After much thought on the subject, i am going to venture to the dark side. sorta . ive decided that since i will soon be getting the megasquirt , im gonna ditch the 1.8t. Really, if it can tune/run any motor, why bother with the ea82? i rather have more reliable engine that has more power and potenial. so in the next few months (since im starting a new job) the wagon be starting the procces of getting a turbo EJ20 or EJ22. i made a post regarding how the xt6 tranny would handle it..if it last for a few years, that would be a mirracle. if not, Im sure i can get enought time out of it to do a tranny swap later on. im sure i going to want to replace it with an Ej tranny anyway. I've allrady talked to john about the adaptor plates, but there is a few more people on my list I need to have discussions with. -Brad
  14. well i have made a descion with my wagon..hence me asking if the xt6 tranny will hold up. I realized there's is no point of getting megasquirt to run ea82. i can run anyhting i want with it!, so it might as well be an EJ
  15. for some reson that 2nd rim reminds me of something out of starwars;)
