sorry to bring up an old-ish thread, but seeing as you mentioned upgrading the sway bars and springs, what sway bars would you go with? i'm putting together sort of a list of things i need/want to fix/upgrade on my wagon.. (is there a "what fits on what" thread? i've got a 91 loyale push button 4wd)

Cool that is kinda what i'd be going for. Just thinking about the actual swap; many people do the 2.2 swap, but is the 2.5 swap essentially the same? same hardware/adaptors/etc? I guess a search on the forum would do me well ha......

Would it be possible to build a 2.2L block with 2.0L heads? OR feasible to use ej22t block, replace pistons, and use 2.0 heads? Shewwt i dont know.. ha. I'm pretty curious, would like to do something like this once my ea82 starts to crap out.

I haven't taken my Loyale on any substantially high mileage trips, but I've always entertained the idea of taking it to Burning Man (never been, everyone says its either awesome or a load of crap with too many hippies). With that said, I'd like to experience it myself. I wonder what are some ways of keeping playa dust/grime from getting too many places where it shouldn't be...? there's a considerable amount of engine work I wanna get done before i'd think to take it on a trip that far, though.. but planning for the future! -Sean

I'm also pretty curious about the lifted dd thing.. I use my car for work, and an not necessarily an off roading enthusiast, but enjoy the idea of being able to cover "most" terrain if I do decide to go camping or find a new shooting spot or whatever. opinions are opinions, but would adding a 2" lift be overly detrimental to the performance I get while urban and highway driving? I cover a lot of miles in an avg work week and font want to have to replace my CVs all the time ha..

No idea, but I think i know the wagon you're talking about. I'm pretty sure the guy lives within a few blocks of my house though, just because i've seen him driving most often in my neighborhood.

tinted my windows yesterday. i mean.. paid to have them tinted as i know hardly anything about diy tinting. have to wait to roll my windows down

Rain-x'ed the glass, new and better rain-x wiper blades, and gave the blue beast a bath. (even though it's winter and the rain probably won't stop for months).. and have any of you tried that rain-x anti-fog stuff?

quick question - i haven't searched, but what about the RX lsd?
