You can decode the car yourself ..do a search there is a step by step in the repair manual section and what the codes are

For now its just going to get Outback struts ..that will give it a couple inches...maybe ..if I can afford them I will go with the King Springs that adds some really nice lift. I also plan on using the car some to help keep miles off my Imp... 30K in a year is far too much.

I keep leaning more and more to the new Gen stuff..parts are too hard to find here and the cars themselves are getting harder and harder. Anyway..added a new one to my crew..I am back to 3 Subarus..( seems to be when I am most comfortable) A 95 Legacy LS wagon.. Will be my future lifted wagon . Saturday, myself ..with the help of njdrsubaru went to look at a possible future Pine Barrens ride. A 95 Legacy LS wagon the seller said needed a tranny. It was a make offer car and we had given a tentative sight unseen offer which the seller accepted. We go to Northern NJ Sat during the snow to see the car. I let Neo have his head since he definately knows his way around a legacy and is extremelt thorough. Hooked up his tester to see why the check engine light is on.. was all over the car checking everything imaginable. All of which I fully appreciate cause he really doesnt have to. Anyway..it does need a good bit of work but maybe by early summer it will be ready for some mild romps in the Pine Barrens..It will clean up nicely and best of all..ended up getting it for $250. Good: Body very solid..minor scraps and next to no rust motor starts right up and runs strong..as a slight misfire on cyl 2 new Cats..timing belts..tires and alt prbably some more that I cant think of. Interior Mint. its White!! I love white wagons! The Bad.. Has some rear subframe rust..will need addressed. Tranny is iffy..may need to swap it.. yet on test drive it did shift but fluids extremely burnt Front diff was dry aweful clunking coming from the front..could be diff or could be something in the brakes or the axles but it cannot be driven . Basically with a few weekends and a couple trips to Harrys ..we think I will have my future lifted wagon...its not an EA82 but in these parts they are as rare as hens teeth. Kind of planning on twinning it to Neos 95 after seeing how capable that car is. Thank You Neo..your the bestest!! I will get more pictures once it gets home on Friday. We are going to have it towed up to my house then slowly start going over it. Harry's run will be in order.Interior is perfect..motor runs good and strong. And its white!! me loves white wagons. Future plans..lifted bigger tires off road lights etc etc..Going to be a Pine Barrens offroader.

I just dont want to say what it is yet cause it isnt completely set in stone..We ( Neo ) and me are going for the closer look Sat and the seller already accepted our tentative offer on it. But lets just say..its GORGOUS!!! and the price is incredible. I just dont want to jinx it.

We may have pictures Sat ..if things all pan out as hoping..but right now for our own sake ...we are not at liberty to say....hehehehe..lets just say..keep fingers crossed cause its a beauty

I lost a friend just a few months ago..due to a car pulling out in front of him ( he was on his motorcycle) so I feel your pain.. It seems to help by doing something in honor of them. I am so sorry for your loss .. and I hate drunk drivers..and the law needs to be stricter on them

Oh Advanced also installs for free ..and will test for free also.

I use either the Wally World ones or the Advanced Auto Silvers ( slightly above the cheap) Only had problems with one from Advanced..but all I had to do was take the 30 seconds required to remove it..and run it back to the store and they gave me a replacement. that battery has been in 2 cars now..
