If my Trek is ready and I get the trunk carrier..I will bring it.. Have to wait till noon today to call and see if it will be ready ( I was going to pick it up next week but the money came in)

I should have been working on the coupe today...but ..instead I went and bought a new mountain bike...If I can find a carrier I feel comfortable enough to put on the coupe ..I will be bringing that too I did manage to vacuum it out though...only cause a hidden spider nest decided it wanted to hatch and had baby spiders all over:-\

I pick up the burgers Thursday have to polish the rims and vaccuum out the car and hopefully it will be good to go

I ordered the case of the bacon jalepeno cheddar burgers this morning..will pick up Thursday ..along with buns and condiments.Might even grab a cheap carcoal grill...can never have too many cooking surfaces

Got the louvers done and back on today ..along with the new mudflaps and the new fuel door....Then had to drive hime around town to show him off:

She is looking good..has come along way so far. Dont like the hood vent though..maybe a turbo hood vent ( XT-T) but ..that just doesnt look right I think

Yup..tabs are good...and in WA they go with the car not the owner.( seems wierd and foreign to me but..hey) Its insured also... I am leaving the WA plates on till after Carlisle for nostagia reasons then he gets his Classic tags. It is kinda funny watching the looks on peoples faces. Should have the louvers back on today and hope to have the rims polished up. Maybe do a little repainting of some faded stuff too.

Today I broke down and clay barred the coupe..and polished it myself since...well the money wasnt there for the detail. Needless to say ..I am very impressed....oooober smooth and actually pretty shiney... I think the only way to truely make it worthy would be a complete repaint...but I think LB ( whose name may be changing to Remy) is presentable. I have to finish up the louvers yet and put them back on but...For your viewing pleasure..a 26y/o claybarred coupe:

Not a chance..How many times must I state...restoration not modification...will be worth more in the long run stock.This car is too nice to butcher

Finished Polishing up the coupe...Still alot more to do but doubt it will get done Teasers

I started claybarring the coupe yesterday...so far getting a nice shine...not as happy as I want to be but I only think a repaint will fix that. I should be there around 1ish I am thinking ..maybe 2..I forget I am bringing an EA81 :-\ with no guages and 234K miles .. 300 miles..so I will be stopping frequently to double check things ( plus I have a front main leak so oil check will be in order. I think it looks awesome..love the look of a vehicle thats being used. Someday I will look around and see if I can find you those FOX decals from my previous life as a dirt biker

That sounds like the carb is good...have you tried hot wiring the fuel pump to a battery..take the line off and see if it runs directly wired to the battery.

If I buy the bike I am looking at and it doesnt cost too much to ship it out.. I might give the ride a try..if I can get my oober large rear in some sort of shape by then

Timmy..have you tried shooting starting fluid straight into the carb to try and start it?

Of course its for the GL-10..who wants to see my fatazz...Y'all have to remember I am one of those fat chicks y'all make fun of..except I know it and try to hide.
