  1. Delta Cams come to mind. As to the specifics on the cam grind numbers, I can not remember. Perhaps WJM and others can fill in here.
  2. Yeah, I am back from the dead and lurking. Still have not read a whole lot in the way of racing and horsepower since the WJM wars. I miss my RX turbo dearly (Pours beer to the ground) since it rusted away. My next step with that car in the way of horsepower was to add a 50-60hp shot of nitrous. Has anyone done this here and if so, what was your experience with it? I know these cars are ancient but still. I was hoping I had a chance to do that. Thanks for any feedback on those that tried it. I still have my Techworks parts in my garage, waiting for another turbo model to someday mod up again. Until then...I sit.
  3. You could always try to find a Techworks kit off of someone on here. I got 35whp out of mine without turning up the boost. And reliably to boot! Car had no problems. It just rusted itself too death and went to Gary Gross... Oh...and the turbo with the kit was a GT46 (I know I got it wrong probably) ball bearing unit. Spooled nicely!
  4. Good sell! Makes me wonder what he wants with an XT6 though.
  5. It's not the snow that is the problem. It is the salt that is put down afterwards. I'm in Delaware. You'd think this was the salt capital of the U.S. 3" of salt for every 1" of snow it seems. The salt actually becomes a skid hazard due to not being able to stop on it. The other problem it causes is the huge pot holes it makes in the roadways. You can't win. Many people drive like idiots so you have to clear the roadways.
  6. My poor RX turbo project collapsed under its own weight early last year from rust. Car ran excellent and reponded to mods VERY well. It just was rusted to hell underneath. Even when the dealership lifted it to see what was wrong with it, rust specs crunched and came off the car. It sounded like the car was being crushed. Luckily I still have the turbo parts waiting for another home.
  7. Totally missed this but found it searching for other stuff. Awesome car! Wish I'd own one.
  8. Stop here too--> http://subarujusty.proboards20.com/ Hell...put a superbike motor in it...like this Geo Metro that was modified. http://www.rallyclassified.com/classified.php/listing/456
  9. You mean like this?---> http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=10607&highlight=turbo+justy
  10. Intercooler gives a torque 'boost' at low rpms. It then tapers off to where the stock torque is at higher rpms. At least from my experience->
  11. When u can afford it? Go to Pep Boys or Autozone. Get yourself a cheap muffler (None of the louvered [sp?] core ones). That'll be a few bucks! Take it to Meineke, Midas, etc and get yourself some custom cat back piping made up. I think mine cost $80.00 to be done. Here are some pics--> http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=29957
  12. Almost 2 years later Gary! :-p I am an old post, info searching whore I guess. Anyways, have you ran these tests on your T-Leg? Anyone else run these tests? I no longer have an RX turbo but hey, I can learn something. I already have all of this samed on my computer at home. Anything new Gary?
  13. You are only asking for 25 - 35hp more than you have stock. Header, exhaust and intercooler should be able to give you that without turning up the boost. Give your car a full tune-up and send your fuel injectors out to be cleaned (Ex: RC Engineering). Make sure your cooling system is up to par and enjoy driving.
  14. Then maybe it is a 'road' course. :-p Get videos we can see..........
  15. So, has anyone else on here actually installed these injectors? Or is everyone sitting back chillin'? If so, what are your thoughts on performance, drivability, etc?
  16. Got it! Part is simply called 'Adjuster'. Subaru part# 73134AC001 Amount: $6.48 at the dealer. You should be able to get it cheaper. Picked it up and will install tomorrow. Thanks for everyones help.
  17. Hell all, I have a 1997 2.2ltr Subaru Impreza Outback Sport wagon. I was trying to tighten the belt on the passenger side by turning the belt tightening screw. It was very cold out when I was trying and the bolts I was suppose to loosen before tightening were interfering. I cracked the piece that the screw you turn to tighten the belt goes through. Once I tried to tighten it again when it got warm out, it simply came apart. I need to replace the part that the screw goes through so I can install it and start driving the car again. Does anyone know the part number for this piece (or at least the proper name for it). I can not find it in any of my part number books and papers. Thanks! BTW: Below are some pictures of the piece I need to replace.
  18. If for some reason you need to bump up your fuel pressure due to increased air intake, an AEM Honda prelude fuel pressure riser will fit the XT6. It is a tight fit but it works. I have it on one of my XT6s.
  19. Contact Garner on here! He was able to help me with my EA82T with a custom made pulley he made.
  20. 85 extra hp! Sheesh! That's like running a 85hp shot of nitrous on an XT6.......All The Time! Lucky bastid!
  21. Sorry to parade this around Huck but I feel the world needs to know. http://www.xt6.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5773&start=0
