  1. If mine does not have this fuseable link could that be the issue on why my battery keeps draining?
  2. Motor is out of the Legacy and about to be fitted into the Brat! Pics to come later!
  3. Yes have you seen the green wagon?
  4. oof so some motivation hit me this last weekend and I HAVE to have this swap done by the end of august. I am now on a time crunch. Today I prepped the EJ to be pulled just need to go and grab my buddies engine hoist and get that baby out so we can put it in the BRAT!
  5. So today I finally pulled in the legacy to start taking it a apart. I've been so swamped with work and an injury from mountain biking I haven't had much time or drive to do anything. But now things are all better and I am back on track to get this project done!
  6. http://vimeo.com/91383158 quick video of the latest exhaust set up. This was a cold start after sitting for two days. I didn't let it warm up because I was just parking it on the street and didn't want to make the garage smell like brat exhaust. I can't stop tweaking with it ha...going to throw something else together soon

  9. That's exactly what I ended up doing tundra and got it started first turn of the key. At tdc I was at #2 on cap/rotor adjusted that and we are good to go! But was test driving it and blew a coolant hose so off to the parts store for a new one!
  10. So I have been struggling the past few nights. I put the weber on and now I can't get the car to start. I have fuel its getting spark but I think my timing is way off. The car will crank but won't start I have gone through all the processes I can think of to check for fuel and spark and they have all been positive. I can't time it until it starts does anyone have any suggestions?
  11. *grumble grumble* at least it went to someone on the board! This is probably the best gen 2 brat I have ever seen in person.
  12. Stoked you have this brat bummed Erik sold it
  13. Untitled by Kevin Talley, on Flickr So last night I couldn't sleep and my daughter wanted to hang so I let her stay up late and help me swap the intake manifold from green brat since it had my weber on it and put it on the red brat. In the process I am not confident I hooked my vacuum lines up right. Can someone snap a photo of your weber set up for all the vacuum lines?
  14. ha yea It will make the headache of getting the awd set up right a lot easier that's for sure.
  15. I want to do it Awd but budget isn't gonna allow me to do that unless I get some free stuff to make it work.
  16. Well tonight I pulled the driveline out of the brat ad went to measure it up to the legacy and just found out that the legacy is fwd.... Kind of disappointed in myself that I didn't check on that before hand but also will make the swap a little easier. Oh well roll with the punches.
  17. we don't need to enter the show we can just parking lot pimp it

  20. Untitled by Kevin Talley, on Flickr Not too much work has been done this week but I got the dash pulled out last night and then just kind of laid underneath the brat for about 45 mins getting visuals of how much work this is actually going to take. Holy spoob I am excited. Dropping the Trans/drive line/suspension and all the rest of the stuff thats under the car. And then I will pull the Legacy into the garage and start tearing that apart.
