  1. That's what first led me to think the little indicator tab. !_!
  2. Might look into a portable / handheld unit. That way you can use it in and out of your subaru
  3. If I had the money I'd prolly go for an H6 3.0L Outback Wagon with as many bells and whisltes I could afford I'd get that sick red/gold two tone paint job and gold badgets too. Seen a couple of those wagons running around the cities here. I get wood on sight
  4. But was the indicator clip rubbing? Sometimes when pads get put on the indicator thingy doesnt get adjusted properly or at all. Then it squeals even tho there is plenty of pad left. Look on the disc itself for signs of metal on metal wear. Perhaps you mgiht see where its rubbing and determine the cuase. Grab and shake everything good. Rotor solid? Calipber on tight? Strut and kuckle seated firmly? Pads cliped in and not dragging on the rotor?
  5. Missed a little drama; nothing you couldnt just click back a few pages and see. Welcome back
  6. Pull the wheel off and find out Prolly just the indicator touching the rotor. That indicates your pads are low. Wont know tilll ya look
  7. Glad to hear you are back up to par. Rust just ads character! !_!
  8. He said no rubbing when bouncing on the car so thats a good estimate. Wont know really till you STUFF a tire up there Might jack up the car by a control arm and really see how it will behave with the tire stuffed up in the well good.
  9. I thought it would look seriously lame. Turned out pretty neat really, good work. Now pound out some of them dents
  10. Hahahaha thats one BIG exhuast leak Chux: if you want I could give you a hand and check it out. I'll PM you my number and just gimme a call.
  11. If you are going deep enough to need a snorkel lets not forget water proofing everything else Ignition system comes to mind. Do our rear diffs have breathers? Dont want water in there etiher. Time to invest in some dielectric grease and rubber gloves
  12. thx maybe i'll finally donate some cold hard cash and earn me another little badge too bad blood, sweat, free parts and labor dont buy one !_!
  13. Are there ANY more 14" rims? PLEASE look close! If you find any let this be my bid on first dibs I would take a set atleast; if not 5. I'll take that one you found if thats the only one also. Suposidly it was an optional upgrade. I have no idea what they would look like or if they are steel/aluminum. Being that they are only .5 inches taller on both ends of the diameter it wont look much bigger at all. Use your spider senses
  14. Sounds like a neat idea; count me in You could have the list protected and available to ONLY Donor Members. That way creepy lurkers would have to be donating creepy lurkers. Honestly im not that worried about that. If ppl wanted to come get me its not that hard to figure out who I am, where I live and how to find me... and the same for YOU DUN DUN DUUHHHHHNNNNnnnn..... =P
  15. Grand Luxury == GL Devoid of Luxury == DL Loyale is inbetween as far as options go. Less options than GL but a couple more than DL
  16. I hear you man; budgets are tough Thats why I have an old '88 GL wagon !_! That recovery equipment is very cheap. Most expensive piece is the come a long and i paid $26 for a 2 ton come along from Fleet Farm. The rest can be had for very cheap. With out ground clearance youll prolly want atleast a snatch strap Peace
  17. Prolly be less of a headache and cost to just buy an EJ20TT + ecu and harness and make it all fit
  18. Howdy Those are some fancy rims and tires; don't burn them up TOO Fast
  19. They should fit in a box and still be within the size limits of UPS or USPS. Don't think youd have to ship them as an 'oversized' package or anything. Del Gue: hit up UPS or USPS websites and you can do an estimate right on their site.
  20. Hmmm thats a wierd one! YOu said the Check Engine Light comes one (CEL) have you pulled the code(s) to see what is throwing an error? Even if the light shuts off the code is stored in your ECM and can be retireved. I would start there
