  3. ok, whoever owned the outback before me put those small round mirror things in the corners of my door mirrors, they are too distracting for me so i want to take them off but dont know how they are attached and really dont want to break the mirrors removing them...any ideas?
  4. just had a thrush turbo muffler installed on my 96 outback 2.5....not much louder then stock, bottom end seems a little better also...can recommend dan fast muffler in lynnwood washington as they did a great and fast job...
  5. got them on and i must say they do look pretty sweet! now for a bigger rearsway bar
  6. my 96 outback 2.5 alot of times shifts pretty hard 1-2, is there some kind of additive i can use to help this or is another one of those subie quirks...

  8. well, got the wrx rims and triple tread tires on my legacy outback, now need an alignment, any recommendations in the seattle area?
  9. yeah, already got a quote from him, problem is i already have some tint on it so i have to pay for it to be removed and then new stuff put on, and i have found that prices are much more expensive here in seattle then they were in denver

  11. if the antenna is up by the drivers side window you just pull it up, no power...if its in the back it should go up by itself when you turn on the radio...
  12. have a line on some 2005 wrx wheels w/205/55/16's on them, everything so far points to no problem but would like to ask the experts here

  15. anyone know if these ever came with those black door edge guard thingies? in the past i have found these work really well and would like to find some for my ob...no luck so far, not on ebay/or on any other ob's i have seen here in seattle...

  17. just wanted to drop a line about this weekend's wccs7...only stayed for the afternoon but had a great time..neat to put faces to screen names bunches of wrx's, early gen1 ea81's, brats, ea82's straight and modded heavily, legacy's and impreza's....gorgeous day, sold a few rice krispie treats but not the gen1 legacy cargo cover ...time to list it on craigslist i guess... good homemade mexican food too!! all in all a great time...couldnt do the overnight thing as i have to work sunday, maybe next year... thanx to all that put the show on and the vendors too!

  20. well, we are getting back some cash also would like to have the a/t due to some foot issues i have and a commute from lynnwood to seatac for work every day...
  21. well, checked out and drove it this afternoon...a/c blows very cold...underside of oil filler cap is fine ....no leaks underneath....however, they did have the fuse in on the 2wd as there is a "problem" which they say involves a "coupler?" which they will fix....what is also strange are the leather seats which say "limited" on them but the limited option wasnt suppose to be out till 1997 so not too sure whats going on there...cv's look good....everything looks good except that coupler thing so if someone has some info on that please fill me in >>> alan
  22. am thinking of selling the 89wgn and my wife's 99 accord and going to a one car family...looking at legacy's.....what should i look for and what should i avoid? would like a/t because of my feet and a long commute btwn seatac and lynnwood..found a 96 outback wgn w/109 for around $6k...seems like a good deal and they take trade ins!
