  5. well, bought a jc sports front strut tower brace, was told it would fit with no problem, got it installed ok but now the hood won't close without alot of persuasion it seems to be hitting back on the hood where the windshield washer hoses are, there is a lip on the underside of the hood, hard to tell as its not easy trying to hold the hood up with one hand, use a flashlight with the other hand and bend down and look to see what the heck is going on...any tips/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.. thanx
  6. your local friendly pull a part or junk yard would be a good place..
  7. heard and read lots of maybes and possibilities and coulda woulda shoulda's but need some concrete answers...looking for a beefier rear sway bar for my outback, presently it has a 17mm so something along the 20mm size or an adjustable one would be fine.... been told that wrx ones will/wont fit...same for r/s sti's etc...need to make sure it will fit as i cant afford to make an error.... thanx!
  8. i get around 26-28 in my 96 ob...and i watch the acceleration and tire pressure...little harder ride but worth the tradeoff with the increase in gas mileage...

  12. well, going to go to steve's subaru in tacoma on friday..was going to use smart-service but they dont have saturday hours and didnt want to have to miss work(pay) to have the outback worked on....we'll see how things go....
  13. like the title says...what is the size of my oem outback rear sway bar...looking to go beefier as the lower tires i just put on with the wrx rims added a little bit of roll to turns....

  16. well, went ahead and did the dental floss trick, now, can i use a razor blade for some of the white adhesive and then the googone or will the blade scrape off some covering on the mirrors?
  17. yeah, they are the 2004 ones...i did have a line on some 2005 ones that were bronze but they had the re92's on them and that kinda killed the deal...the rims were really nice but i didnt want to have tires that honestly do s&&k and the triple treads were rated #1 in their class by tirerack and their customers so it was kinda a nobrainer which for me is a good thing
