  1. as mentioned, we tried that on the rear also, still wont fit..brian thought they might fit on the wgn wheels though...
  2. ha! i've got two different styles of center wheels, one with long prongs like your pic and one with much shorter prongs and it still wont fit on the rear...
  3. this goes in line with what i just went through...got some chrome center caps from austin and from the pap, some chrome trim rings from the pap, and some acorns from the pap, shined everything up nice and........front chrome centers went on fine but the rears wont...brian the guru says they will fit the wgn wheels but not the normal steelies in the rear.... so, i too have extra chrome center caps, am now looking for one more trim ring and four baby moons btw, brians had some of those plastic thingies...

  5. yeah, little late now but what the heck! those chrome center caps on the early to mid 80's subies, those will fit my 89 ea82 right, right? i certainly hope so

  9. was wondering what i could use to paint some hubcaps i might be getting..they would be 10-15 years old, oem of course, and probably scratched and scuffed up...i could tape off the subaru and then paint but dont know what kind of paint or what "color" to use...car is light blue...any ideas/tips/suggestions would be greatly appreciated...wheels are the basic black steelies.... in fact, here is a link to the kind i am hoping to get: http://www.hubcaps-wheelcovers.com/photo/Su160504.jpg thanx!

  11. hmm, i have an 89 that i live the keys in all the time and never a peep, or ding-dong or dink-dink or anything!! pink wires you say?
  12. i use chevron now...shall i just go to mid and see what happens? and yep, brian is great, be sad to see them go
  13. umm, its whatever regular is around here in seattle
  14. well, may have gotten the o2 sensor issue fixed but brian also said to run premium in the rig...know i now i have a little pinging going up hills and stuff and run regular but is it really necessary to run premium? timing was checked and right on at 20deg.
  15. actually, i just thought i could drill ahole through the handle and loop a wire through it maybe, hmmmm....
  16. is there a replacement or retrofit for the fuel fillter door on my 89ea82? like from a legacy or something? i would like one where i can set the gas cap, like the early legacies had a built in clip or something like that to hang the cap on..i keep losing mine alan
  17. hmm, how could a o2 sensor(bosch) go bad in less then 3months????????

  20. well, check engine light with a 32 code is still blinking at me but now my mileage has gone from 31 to 33!!!! i would think if the 02 sensor was bad the car would run rich, right? shall i not worry about it then or find someone with the electrical test stuff to test it? also, have noticed a little bit of pinging...am running 87 octance....just the regular stuff...
