  12. My 2001 outback auto trans has started to take about 30sec to go into drive. Does anyone have anyone know how to fix this problem short of changing the trans. I have been told that a fluid and filter change might work. After it goes into drive everything works fine until I turn the engine off and go to start it up then the problem of the 30sec wait starts. Need help Gunner
