  1. I know Hatchet lives down there and I think there is two or three others right near you. For all the Subie drivers in Utah, you'd think there would be more on the board:confused:
  2. Mad Max has spent the entire winter snowed in. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/photos/showphoto.php?photo=20054&cat=500 Last started in December, Max ran fine. I cranked Max over last week and I found the volt meter is showing no volts? Max still runs fine but the volt meter does not move at all? I didn't have time to check anything else. Suggestions? Max is pinned in by 27" of snow and solid ice underneath. Fear not, Max will break out in a week or two...
  3. I'd hate to see this get thrown out. This guy has been trying to get rid of it for a while now. http://www.ksl.com/?nid=218&ad=2959447&cat=&lpid=
  4. You did a great job on the install! The only problem I can see is the angle of approach will not be helped by the bumper install. I have a #2000 on the back of the buggy, seems to work great. ...and I also have a block just-in-case.
  5. Great site Jamie, ...but it seems a little too pink! Glenn
  6. You should salvage some of the trim and such. The parts that will make someone elses old subie complete. Even though these can't be saved, the little parts can continue on....
  7. I found this in the local online classifieds. http://www.ksl.com/?nid=218&ad=2795363&cat=&lpid= Though someone here may want it.
  8. My guess is it's hidden screw/remove cluster process. I'd prefer to avoid that, I sure like to hear that it can be easily done from the back side. I can't wait...
  9. Good to have you aboard. These folks here know more about Subaru's than Subaru! We have done things that they never intended:banana:. Let's see some pics!
  10. Welcome, I can see your Subie has never lived in SALT LAKE City. Nice Subie, no major rust issues!
  11. Could use more power. Needs shift knob bent so I can shift into 2nd with out hitting my 4 lo lever. (Doesn't hit in 4 hi) Minor oil leak. Windows don't work Windshield wiper is missing front and rear Side view mirror missing Antenna is missing A/C works fine Has a bit of road noise Rear window needs work Low beams don't work. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/photos/showphoto.php?photo=10339&cat=500&perpage=12&sort=3&ppuser=584 But no rust issues!
  12. Which Dealer are we talking about? Picking things up locally is always safer than sending money and expecting a box to arrive.
  13. This one says it's a GL but the pictures show DL written on the back.
  14. I wish I could remember what BD I used? May have to wait for Shawn to tell me? Welcome back!
  15. The question becomes where are the hidden screws to remove it?
  16. It's been done by others... This may help. http://www.etischer.com/914xt6.html http://www.cardomain.com/features/turbo914 Good luck
  17. Anyone know how to get to the inst. panel idiot lights on a early to mid 90's Camry? I can't seem to reach up far enough under the dash as there is too much crap in the way? Do I un-screw the inst. panel and replace them from the front? Anyone dealt with this concept? Thanks,
  18. Will an EA82 (1985 DL) air fiter fit a EA81 (1982 GL) Aka highly modified off-road buggy? Ya I could look it up but someone here will know... I found a free one in the classifieds:-\ Free is always good with me Thanks, Glenn
  19. I thought about making a pickup version of my buggy. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/photos/showphoto.php?photo=13320&cat=500&ppuser=584 This was my photoshop version of what it should look like.
  20. Glad your ok, now we wanna see pics!!!
  21. I'm thinkin for someone who's handy, it may be a good starting platform?
  22. So are those side pipe mufflers under the center section of the Subie?
  23. We have a new leader:banana: Now the real question will a Subie Dash termometer display negative temps? It's 9:13am and 44 degrees here...guess I won't find out anytime soon:Flame:
  24. I prefer signs like that on chains not poles. Just as chains sag downward in the middle.... Chains can be lifted in the center:lol:. Generally just enough to allow lower profile 4wds to slip under (un-noticed) No damage to sign or chain... no harm, no foul.
  25. Must be documented by a dash thermometer pic!!! Stories don't count. This morining my Subie was 13 as evidenced by the pic. The coldest I've ever seen it regester is 5 degrees. It was -18 last night but no pics!!! I'm sure 13 is not a winner. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/photos/showgallery.php?cat=500&ppuser=584&perpage=12&sort=3 So...how cold has your Subie been?
